Brevard whipped an East Rutherford bunch that beat Reidsville . That’s all I need to know. I truly thought East Rutherford would beat them and was shocked at how well Brevard was able to handle them. That says a lot about those Blue Devils and their ability to match up with Monroe in my opinion.
Also the Blue Devils had a very good win over Forest Hills….cmon y’all…..compare their score with Monroe. Looks pretty good for Brevard to me.
I’ll say this…at Monroe😵💫…is brutal for Brevard.

Definitely have a shot. Long slow drives on offense...they have a Stout run defense so I would defend pass to force the run, make Monroe's offense eat clock too.
Brevard is playing with house money. Nothing to lose. Monroe's speed makes it hard for Brevard to win the game in the trenches. Brevard will have to use the speed they have to contain them...keep everything inside the tackles if you can.

@Maiden Creek @GrizzlyDevil thank you guys, was curious to get hear you guy’s thoughts on what some might call a cinderella team. I knew they’ve been highly ranked all season in your polls Grizz but I wasn’t giving them any chance considering the strength of those western teams.
If Brevard gets up by 2 scores, they have a shot. Monroe is one of those you have to be up by at least 3 scores so by the time they catch up(and they find a way to catch up) the time will have expired.

Yea it was your fault for not going, I don't even have a spare in that car. It came with a tire inflation kit, Has an air pump and a can of sealer. Bad thing is I knew that. I had already bought a new rim and intended on putting a new set of tires on it after Christmas. I was going to buy 5 new tires. Now I think I'll just put one of the existing tires on the slightly bent rim and use that for a spare. I'll have to get Hardison's to tow it Monday. Its parked in someone's yard on the Aurora - Askins rd.
West Stokes played them 2 weeks ago 2 hour trip. Monroe only threw 3 passes and completed 2. West had 6 more first downs about 10 more minutes time of possession and had a back rush for 185 yards. They ran all over us like they did Shelby. They had good line play and one back is probably 215 and fast. They have penalty issues some games but not bad against West.

City schools to dismiss at noon Friday for fifth-round playoff game
Whiteville City Schools announced Tuesday that the district’s five schools will let out early Friday because of Whiteville High School’s participation in the 2A East title football game.
Whiteville’s first eastern c’ship appearance in 37 years.
Whiteville used to be a powerhouse back in my day. Had multiple kids make it to the NFL. Coach price won titles at WRH, maybe they will have a great game plan. Just don't see NE losing this game at home. Whiteville will have to play two great halves of football. JK played 1 1/4 halves last week and showed NE can be beat, just can't beat yourself against NE

Hey Goob. All these blowout predictions by the West and others are not supported by the #’s. Jones is out performing Chambers and has a higher qb rating. Your Eagles has almost 2000 more yds on offense. When I said this is the Eagles best team, the #’s back it up. No one has stopped NE’s offense except sometimes themselves. NE’s defense can match the strength of the best offense’s they’ve played. NE can stop the run and pass. Speed and strength all over the field. Moore, Goob, JamesDavis and all the NE fans gonna get one
