Glad to see someone bring up Endy. Miss Nixon is the principal, but Miss Morton was there six years before that and the test scores were tops in the county. They switched them. Endy is a model school, but has a faculty that is focused on academic success and community support. New people can't change a school when it has gone downhill since 2006. Checkout Schooldigger.com to see the stats to prove that AHS's decline has been for many years. Great that they continue to be successful with athletics despite the focus on academics. New plans by school board will help students get a better education which is the first priority for public schools. Bulldogs will be successful on all fields no matter who is in the front office.

I tipped my hat. The academics last longer than the trophies. (Check out the consignment stores in town. You will find people trying to "sell" their little league trophies from their childhood. ???) Anyway, Endy..as I said...seems to be doing it the right way.
