East Gaston has had an impressive year so far. What do they look like?
I still don't have a good barometer for them. They have had solid pitching thus far but don't have a shutdown arm. They have some kids that can play but no one that jumps off the charts when you watch them. They have benefited from a weaker schedule at this point but they are a solid team. They've done what they had to do and won the games they were supposed to win.

Wins over Forestview, Bessemer City x3, Ashbrook x2, Highland x2, Shelby x2, Kings Mtn, West Iredell, Thomas Jefferson x2. Loses to North Gaston and Palisades.

Cherryville swept East Gaston this week (7-3 and 9-0). Looks like the weaker schedule was a big part. Although Cherryville typically is no slouch, they aren't as strong as year's past.

Yea, I watched the 5-0 loss to NG in this tourney finals and wasn’t too impressed. Cloniger pitched well for Noga that night so not taking anything away from him but EG wasn’t/isn’t as good as their record.
