Hard fought win for Mt. Airy. We gave them all we had...they pressured the ball and we made some turnovers we dont usually make.

Maybe the best guard combo in 1A...we shut down #5, but #2 was just too much.

But, I guarantee you...the Lady Bears have respect for Murphy now...we gave them all they wanted.

Back at it...back to shooting...playing more this spring...putting in the work!

I thought it was a very good high school girls basketball game. I thought each team played hard
I think that Coach Mayfield and Coach Ray from Murphy would be please with effort. Murphy is a tough team with good size that knows how to use it and that will get better. Mount Airy returns all 5 starters are play well as a team so we might be lucky enough to see these match up again.
Now Mount Airy needs to get ready to play a tough Avery Co team
