McDowell boys and girls with impressive wins at Erwin tonight. The girls victory clinches an outright conference title. The boys are still without Parkins but he got his boot off and could be back soon. Derrick Forney has really stepped up the last few weeks and is averaging over 20 ppg since Rylan was injured. Big game Friday night as a Titan win would mean a shared title with Reynolds on the boys side.

Conference tournament starts next week at Asheville High.

Yes just happy our boys and girls are in the playoffs although we probably won't be going far!!
