Should be running clock in 3rd quarter. Whiteville defense will dominate EB
Whiteville’s offense will be too much to handle. It appears that James Kenan was the only team so far to slow that Wolfpack offense down…and the game still went to overtime. I see Whiteville winning comfortably over East Bladen.
I must say….using Pender as a barometer…for this conference…it appears that South Columbus has a very good defense. The Whiteville vs South Columbus game next week looks to be a great one.

Can’t help but chuckle…noticing that RB for Pender…Jeremiah Johnson…5’ 7” 225 lbs!…he must be something. He had 40 carries for 300 yards against Whiteville. Do what? However, ole South Columbus slowed him down to just 120 yards. Mr. Johnson also rushed for over 200 yards against WRH. Just saying!
Ain’t gonna lie….i think South Columbus might be one of those east teams that’s not ranked high enough. 👀

What people have not mentioned yet is Pender had 3 touchdowns called back against South Columbus and didn’t score on them drives
I'm expecting a good game. Sure wish we still had a #21 in the middle of that D.
The Packs offence has been really good with the pass and the run game for the last 4 games. The defense has been good until last week against Pender. Pender found a honey hole in the Packs defense and stuck to it all night until they figured it out. The problem was the defensive line. IMO they were lining up too far off the ball allowing Penders O line to get a big jump off the ball. If they do that against EB this could be a verry good game. I think our DB'S are really good with several Int's, so the D line has got to get it figured out, put some pressure on the O line and the OB. If we can do that, I think we win by 3 touchdowns to set up a championship game with South Columbus next week at Whiteville. By the way, I think SC is back and playing great football. Looking forward to this one.
