Our offense wasn’t at its best tonight, tbh it was the worst game we’ve played this season. On a positive note our defense was very good and played one of its best games. I’m not sure the number of sacks we had but the coaches on defense have really turned things around. We got to clean up on the to’s. I’ve said all along that we were do for that wtf game, well we had it tonight but still came out with the win. Wish Wrh had of won but at the same time I’m happy for the Jk posters. The wait is finally over and in one week it’s gonna be Duplin County vs the entire Albemarle area. Not just Elizabeth City and Northeastern, but this one will be for everyone in the surrounding counties. Looking forward to having @dogs79 and @Otis4411 coming here next Friday. Guys the pregame meal is on me. All of us here really appreciate you guys coming out in support of our program, and this is coming from the top.
I tried to tell you!! Good game man. I got a kick out of some of our fans. They sure didn’t like the announcer or should I say the DJ?? I tried to tell them to be prepared. He is probably worth 2 tds. I don’t see anybody in the East beating NE. Nothing wrong with their defense either. They made some adjustments and kept us in check after our first drive. Long cold night on our side.

So due to our location within the state of Nc we get little to no media exposure. The Greenville and New Bern area news stations rarely if ever cover our games. Well next Friday night we will have WTKR NEWS CHANNEL 3 and WAVY 10 IN ELIZABETH CITY WITH THE CHOPPER FLYING OVER TO COVER OUR GAME AGAINST JAMES KENAN. BOTH THESE NEWS CHANNELS ARE OUT OF THE HAMPTON ROADS VA AREA WHICH IS NATIONALLY KNOWN AS PRODUCING SOME OF THE TOP HIGH SCHOOL TALENT IN THE NATION YEAR IN AND YEAR OUT.

I told you. It's no offense to any team. When I say I defense is better it is. I don't arguing with other fans up here about NE. It is what it is. Our defense is better lie it it said it was. Without our defense we would lost that game. No disrespect to West craven they played a heck of game.
I have to admit I was skeptical. I knew the offense was really good but skeptical of the defense because of some of the past years. Well looks like Northeastern really got a shot at it this year. I still don't really care who wins but if Y'all or whoever makes it to state I'll be pulling for an East win. And Congrats to my man Goob and you too James Davis.
