I really don't have a dog in the fight in any game and the one dog I guess if you wanna call it that , I have (EB) has all legs broke and it's obvious lol. But I can't help but notice North Lincoln has turned a few heads even with a 1-2 record. A VAST improvement from last 2 or 3 years. Last year AC put a lot on them and so did everyone else that was good or even just decent in that 3A/4A comference. I don't expect them to get past 1st round if they even get there but hey I give credit were it's due, this team is surprising me. By the box score and stats if they work on that run D we can be looking at 2nd in conference. East and Lincolnton seem to be down, West is nothing to mess with but a mistake free game they can take West. Maiden questionable but can go either way. Newton will be too much for em' I'd say, especially if they play Hibriten tough.

Noticed 3 Sport QB is getting it done and has a soph wideout that looks to be LR/Catawba calibure if improvement keeps up. This post may not get many replies or looks I'm just wanting a better scoop on these boys before me and the gang head out to see them possibly stop a rolling West Lincoln that did barley lose to a much improved Foard team even Hibriten won't take too lightly(meaning starters will be in the game alittle longer ha ha)

What's the analysis and recap on these guys? I also while I'm at it wanna know what's up with a Foard so we can mix this thread up some.

The sophomore receiver is Zach Rhodes #17. He transferred from Davidson Day after Chad Grier left as Head Coach.

im glad that north looks better cause I had said real early that I thought that they would be pretty good this year. Lol was hoping I didn't look like a fool :D

Do they have a running game? Cause I noticed how much they like to air it out. I hope Rhods don't transfer again once this QB is gone cause without someone to get the ball to em' his stock will go down at North for the college scouts.

You wasn't kidding man. They looked like a total joke past 2 years and some years back. Prob one of the reasons why the Thompson boy transferred to Lincolnton. I'm guessing that that happens a lot?- Anyone with talent transfers to East or Lincolnton?

I didn't figure he was a home grown fella lol. North hasn't had a killer wide out since.....never. Does the guy run track too? Looks kinda fast on film.

Being out of the NPC is payong huge dividends for north Lincoln. Keep it up

That NPC conf was a great combo of Flashy and flat out terrible. Football wise anyway. North Iredell shinned in a couple sports I believe.

Credit to Coach Pack, NL got a good one and he will get the most out of everyone on that team.

Two words: Coach Pack

The man knows offense !! Great playbook and Rev is right he'll get the best out of his kids

Hope for continued success for him and his kids

Their passing game was impressive. The receivers caught everything threw at them. They dont have much of a run game.

Well how in the world did the boys lose this one?? Saw a fumble toward the end zone or some bad snap. Prob the difference in the game. Surely this is not a bad team, just below avg defense and not coming through in the clutch. I'd imagine BC is one of the top 1A teams this year. Hoping Knights pull it together for next Friday. EB tops West. NOBODY saw that coming. That being said North should pick up their first IMPORTANT win and learn to improve as much as possible because Newton will be an embarrassment and EL and Lincolnton and Maiden still have athletes that can shut Norths air attack down and pretty much do as they please on offense. I hope they got a lot of talent coming back next year cause it's badly needed. Or this may be the year they'll have to do something cause next year looks bleak??

As Shelby Lion stated the difference is new head coach Steve Pack. It is a different culture down there this year. He has the players and fans fired up. They actually have 3 good receivers....Caleb Holley, Daekwon Camp, and Rhodes. Their running game is not bad...Clayton Cribb, a junior RB gets most of the carries. He got banged up against Bessemer City and the sophomore RB who replaced him did a good job.

I'm expecting a close game between WL and NL this week. If it's close at the end NL also has a good FG kicker.

How should they do against the rest of the conference? I know them playing Newton will be bout like East Burke playing Shelby but other than that the rest of the games id like to think can be winnable. Even Maiden.
