Big game Tomorrow with Hickory Ridge vs Cox Mill. CM has only 1 loss but undefeated in conference. Hickory Ridge has only 1 loss in conference to Cox Mill. I will be there tomorrow watching if nothing happens. My understanding is Cox Mill has 4 All Americans on the team.

Can anyone tell me more about Forbush baseball. They seem to be doing good. 13-2 ( 5-1 in conference) They beat a team from Kentucky called North Bullitt Eagles tonight 19-17. Is Forbush normally a powerhouse team in baseball.
I saw them play the first game of the year against West Forsyth. Fantastic ballgame. WF won 1-0 in 8. Forbush, sorry don’t know his name threw a pitcher signed at Western Carolina. They were solid on defense. As you can see there was no offense. WF did throw their number 1 also, ETSU signee. Those 2 will be facing each other for several years to come. As you said they are always solid and well coached baseball team. They should go far in the playoffs. OBTW, it was probably about 40 degrees that night also.
That score obviously came from a spring tournament, not sure where it fell, but I if it was game 4 of the week, it could have been a Johnny Wholestaff pitching for both teams.
Gavin Maines is the pitcher going to Western Carolina. He threw a perfect game Friday at their Ripken Tournament
