Hillside vs. New Bern

Hillside vs. New Bern

Interested in this game as well. Hillside has looked good in their scrimmages and New Bern not so much, but after all they are scrimmages.

Haven't heard much from the New Bern fans since they had their scrimmages last week. Some talk after the Hoggard scrimmage and nothing since the Northside scrimmage. I think it's a touchdown difference between the two and I'm leaning towards Hillside, but don't count out New Bern.

The one game that I will be looking for is the Hillside vs. New Bern game.. I think that will be a tremendous game. Hillside is strong and just to see how New Bern does on offense.. Should be a real test for both teams to start the season

New Bern will struggle the first couple of weeks but Coach Curlings will have these boys ready to make a push come late October. New O line, QB's, WR's, D line; will take some time to gel and find their identity. Ready to see what this 6'6 240 pound kid can do on offense.

North Davidson is gonna win. Too many holes in HPC defense, especially on long deep throws which so far in scrimmages the main North Davidson has done.

For me, the thing I can't past, and I know it's in the past, is Hillside losing to Charlotte Country Day two years in a row. And those weren't two very strong Country Day teams.

I didn't know Hoggard, Northside and Southwest were on the same level as Hillside and Havelock. You must know something we don't.

Thought I was being pretty clear.

We will struggle early based on our competition. Hillside and Havelock ALWAYS play NB tough. Teams we scrimmaged are not on same level as Havelock and Hillside. Because you overpower weaker teams doesn't guarantee you success against tougher competition. Not sure how else to explain it.
