Agree this will be a defensive game. WC owes them from 86. This was the basketball title game from 2022 also.
Looks like this is gonna be a battle of west charlottes speed vs 71st size
So 71st would have blown out Dudley & Hickory too, since you feel that it will be a easy win? I guess you didn't see how WC stuffed Hickory's Big Running Back Lackey in the 2nd half and made him fumble after hard hits? 71st isn't no bigger than 4A Mallard Creek, Hough, Chambers and Independence or 3A Dudley with their 6-2/6-3 320/340 DLs. The game will be close!!! Either team can win it.
Great matchup. WC is battle tested. I’ve watched 71st very closely the last 4 years. They won’t fool anyone with their gameplan. They will be physically imposing from start to finish. The key for WC is will they be able to drop their nuts and go blow for blow every down? I think they can. This will be a close one, but give me 71st.
WC has played all the best teams in 4A and 3A and only lost to two of the top teams...First half may be close but I see WC pulling out a close one....
Yes hickory is terrible this year. Slow white mnt team equals terrible football...

WC has the speed to compete but so did everyone 71st has rolled in the playoffs. I'm really thinking the size and physical play of 71st will get it done in the end. 71st by a TD or two as they take over in the 2nd half. Everyone knows what 71st is doing but stopping it is another story.

I like both teams. Hate to pick against WC but my heart says 71st is too strong on both sides of the ball. 71st by 10 points.
