Hats off to Midway they probably gonna lose this one but showed alot of fight. Next weeks game gonna be huge ill probably buy my ticket tonight im sure it will sell out Clinton vs WRH always a big gate
I just may ride down to see this
40-35 final WRH hangs on.....man if that game goes another 5 mins who knows Midway had alot of fight tonight respect i thought it was about to be mercy rule running clock watching the first half

Hell, I quit watching at halftime. Up 33-0 I’m like well, WRH is gonna get that running clock early in 2nd half. Then I get a text about what’s going down. 40-35 with 2 min to go and Midway lining up for an onside kick.
Can someone explain why the tale of two half’s for WRH? Was Midway just that much better in 2nd half or did WRH call off the dogs (no pun intended) to soon?
Thing is WRH has got the athletes to play with Clinton. Had a friend tell me looks like a hole lot of arrogance and it's not the kids. Bulldogs played like they are capable in first half. Going to get our butts handed to us if we down kick the freaking ball. Can't get any rythym going to the line of scrimmage and run the play clock down to five before snapping the ball. Then when the dogs should have run clock they didn't. I won't go on but mercy that was uuuuuuuuuugly.
I am hopeful the Dogs can score on Clinton. ED put 27 on them and held them scoreless in the second half. I just dont know that we can stop them on D.
Maybe we are too young this season and dont know how to handle prosperity? We will be in the playoffs but I am sad to say probably one and done again.

I will be pulling for the Dogs but I also think Clinton will win.
With Reidsville possibly being in the east it’s a good chance Clinton or NE could be one and done.
I'll take a ugly win any day! Had a coach tell us many years ago after one of this ugly type wins; "y'all just want to win pretty!"
oh come on daagoob, pull for the DarkHorses just one time! You might be pulling for a champion! This DarkHorse team is much better or shall I say more capable than the team y'all beat for the eastern championship in 2019. I'll go ahead and say it, I dont have a son or relative on the team but I know DarkHorse football and this is the best team so far since the 2014 team, actually they're better, more versatile than that team. But, they're still a high sc cool football team. .Good luck to the Dogs. its always a classic matchup no matter whose favored and honestly its not a hated rivalry but just a respected competitive rivalry. The kind of rivalry that should produce a conference champion.And to the loser, IT AIN'T over, the playoffs just begun!

Heck of an effort my Midway in the 2nd half. Can’t say I’ve ever seen anything quite like that. Midways coach deserves a lot of credit. I know the AD at Midway pretty well and he never stops bragging on how great of a coach he is and it has shown with the program turn around over the last three years. I’m sure some bigger schools will be chomping at the bits to get him very soon. Don’t believe the Horses will have too much trouble next week after watching the game last tonight.
Damn at least wrh held on. Man seems like tail of two half. Midway used to be a great program, glad to see them on the rise. Did Roberts play for wrh? What was his stat line
Hey Wiz I have no ill will towards Clinton I just have had the opportunity to hang out with John and some other WRH guys over the last few yrs. They came out in support of NE numerous times and that meant a lot in my eyes. Otis and some other posters also did as well and I always try and meet up with them during playoff times. I will always support the Dogs against everyone but us. I hear what your saying about Clinton but I didnt come away impressed with them in the two games I watched. I was hard on NE early on, especially against Havelock, but Coach has really turned things around. NE is playing really good and the duo of Fresh and Fletch on defense makes every game exciting. Our qb is playing at his best and we have two good backs. Also we just got #10 Quasi back on defense and to push the pile. I think many think NE has fallen off but that couldnt be further from the truth. Aside from special teams, this NE team is better than last years. Were not kicking any fgs and our opponents will almost always get the ball close to midfield. We need a kicker bad. I am currently recruiting one 😉 as I write this.
