Lake Norman will have 6’10 Trent Steinour who is committed to Clemson. They will have others with experience. This team will be scary good this year.

Watched Lake Norman at regionals last season, what a great team. They will definitely be at the top. 2A in the west looks like Reidsville and Randleman will be solid again this season after making to Elite 8 with everyone returning.

New Hanover has all players back except for one. They also get the 6’6 impact player back from injury that did not play in the championship game.

I would not mind if you played us (reidsville). I know we will be at the John wall, not sure who else will be.

I was at the Lake Norman inter-squad scrimmage last evening...OMG at the shooters 1 through 70r maybe 8.
Tre McKinnon has committed to App State and signed papers yesterday. At least two others are getting interest from various schools at good D3 and D2 levels.
May have best three point shooter in the state In #2 guard Josh Yates.
They can play fast and they can play slow.

71st and Westover are both usually strong 3A east teams but Im not sure what both lost from last year. They played each other in the eastern finals last year with 71st winning that game before getting blitzed by Central Cabarrus in the state final.

Think they actually are a little better…
Just ask the Blue Comets…😂🤷‍♂️
I , like most hardwood fans, check the rankings once or twice a week, both Max Preps and the RPI rankings from the NCHSAA....Last week Asheboro was ranked seventh in the RPI ( Ridiculously Provocatively Insane poll ) . After losing to 2-A Randleman and a 1-A squad, Eastern Randolph, that was .500 ( 3-3 ) before beating Asheboro by sixteen last Friday , the Blue Comets have moved up to sixth in the NCHSAA, or RPI rankings. They have slipped from fourth in the Max Preps rankings from last week to twelfth this week, still way too high. If Asheboro keeps losing to 1-A and 2-A teams, they'll be ranked first in North Carolina.

Well if they lost to little old 2A Reidsville they might would rise lol
Nobody has figured out the mysterious key to beating Reidsville in fiddy or sixty years. Good luck to the Rams this year , and hoping you go undefeated.
P.S. At one time, years ago, and I'm figurin' one of you Reidsville cats will know right off the bat, when Hoy Issac ( I think that was the coach's name ), was coaching and Reidsville was 4-A.. What was the last year you were 4-A is my question...Thanks in advance.

Reading about Hoy Issac sound like a legend in Reidsville

Quality scheduling by all involved sir…
It’s all about the OOWEEPI…
Ok that might not be the correct acronym but you get what I’m putting down right???

I wouldn't start looking at RPI until at least halfway through conference schedule. Just like in football, the more games you play the more accurate it will become.

Any poll, ranking , or OBGYNWWY thing that lets a team that lost both basketball or baseball
games in a week and move UP in the RPI rankings, is about as useful as a living room goat turd.
