Triad Area Teams

I'm just trying to get my mind off the pitiful performance by my Dolphins today. It's working too LOL

Go Panthers BTW. But why is this thread pointless Pirate? As many wack stupid threads on this board and you have the audacity to call MY thread/ a fellow Guilford county supporter, pointless? Show some love for your team/county Dude... Smh and yes I'm bored too, panthers already kicked tail today!

Yea... This being the thread I STARTED let me make sure I clarify. This is for the COMPLETE TRIAD AREA. Including everyone. Yes CC/Honda -we are ALWAYS RELEVANT. Honda and Catholic have very short memories. We always carry relevant teams as an area. And by way of me being on here for well over a decade and seeing all of the bragadociousness of the 704 area I believe it was time for the triad area to stand up and get some love. One thing you can count on is we will always have multiple teams making noise. Whether you throw shade at that or not Honda and WHOMEVER else does not discount the fact that you can't discredit this area's accomplishments. Of corse, not only this year, but we have had consistent successful teams since the beginning. And if corse I hold a special place in my heart for Guilford County- But please believe this post is TRIAD LOVE. It's ok, dry your tears and change your diaper, everyone goes through ups and downs... Lol

It's ok! Eventually you will catch up and get it.

Nepsy, can you clarify what you mean? (I'm referring to the point)

The above is the official view of the piedmont triad area... FYI... (This is all in fun btw) but you really mean to tell me we "haven't been there before," or "we aren't used to winning..." Lol. Wow

You're not that smart when you start a thread bragging about how 12 different county's are relevant in High School Football. DUHH! Somebody is really bored.

The Triad

It is what it is. But let's reserve the "not that smart" stuff I'll take "bored" though. ;) Just trying to show our area love. It does look ridiculous when listed out.... Go Panthers! (I guess I'll go back to showing just Guilford county love)

It's all good Brother. Enjoy the playoffs and good luck.

The triad could very well represent the East AND West this year in the 4AA championship game. We will see...

I don't believe CMS is the richest district in the state, but they have it.
Also forgot about Carver and Parkland, thought Carver was in Guilford county for some reason.
Remember CMS was going to drop middle school football and The race car owner chip in the money.

I know, so why doesn't Forsyth county try something similar? Or try building support for it?

WS isn't Charlotte with all the corporate money floating around. Number one priority now is too get the money to ease overcrowding in Elementary and Middle schools. There is probably only 2 high schools that are not at capacity or close to it either, so redistricting isn't going to help there. I can't name a single current MS that has an existing football field or scoreboards. We are talking starting from scratch. Big Money.

But with all that said admin is exploring how to get the money to bring back MS football.

Everyone talks Triad Football, but we all know Dudley is the best team in the area. 37-1 (2 point loss to Richmond 2015) on the field in the last 3 years. And would be on the verge of a 3-peat as 4A State Champions if there wasn't so much jealousy within schools in their conference. That's the truth no one wants to hear. Everyone hypes the Triad Schools in the playoffs but until these schools schedule and defeat Dudley, they're just another playoff team. Give respect where its due.

The triad could very well represent the East AND West this year in the 4AA championship game. We will see................Richmond County might just have something to say about that.......I think we have a very small chance.........Watch out for something called "Raider Magic".....According to the Fayetteville paper it is NOT BACK.....Might want to ask JB about that.....nuff said.....

Sportsnut you are wrong about the overcrowding in Forsyth County. Last year the WS Journal wrote a story and only 4 high schools were at or over capacity, West Forsyth, East Forsyth, Reagan. RJR The rest were hundreds under capacity I think schools like North Forsyth, Parkland, Carver, Atkins were several hundred under capacity

My two I know not at capacity is NF and Carver. Atkins has 2 pods, now I know they are sharing currently with Lowrance, not sure the enrollment of Lowrance. At 1500 students Parkland can't have a lot of available space.

Parkland has room for 1800 plus and that 1500 includes kids at Kennedy and early college and the IB program at Paisley So Parkland is more like 1350. Tabor also is at 1500+ and can house over 1800. Atkins would be way way under if the Lowrance school did not have a toxic waste underneath it.

At or above capacity
West Forsyth
East Forsyth
Reagan
RJR
Walkertown
Glenn

Below capacity
Parkland
Tabor
North Forsyth
Carver
Atkins/when new middle school is built
WS Prep

The choice transfer thing will allow schools like West, East, Reagan to grow, I see all three over 2200 kids by 2020

You could create middle school football just like this and all with a profit

1) use high school field at 2pm just like they do with track for middle school, or have kids play on Wednesdays.

2.) every middle school has practice area for soccer use it for football too

3.) use old jv high school jerseys or cheap practice jerseys, I know East, Reagan and West have tons.

You will make money because kids will go and pay as well as parents, that pays for coach and gas.

It's not hard just no body wants to auctually put work in and start it.

In the league Catholic's middle school plays in (Holy Trinity MS -plays in union county league) they play at the HS stadiums on Saturdays. HT has a 6th, 7th, and 8th grade teams. CMS lumps all 3 together so that is why they don't play with CMS middle schools.
