some serious L's hung on some teams that were hyped all week on this board
Andrews over Northside
Page over Wake Forest
East Forsyth over Independence
Morehead over Havelock
Walkertown over West Montgomery
North Davidson over Scotland
I know other Triad teams won big 2nd round games but I mentioned these because I saw a lot of chatter from the teams all week who eventually took an L
Just say Guilford County because trying to slip in Forsyth County is a joke. They are not always relevant.....lol

Youre coming to Fayetteville and I am traveling to SouthWest Edgecombe GSONorthern Guilford also will advance to the third round, with yet another trip to Fayetteville and sultry Hay Street, where Terry Sanford and his herd of number one seeded Bulldogs await the flock of Greensboro Birdlings, a thirteen seed.. Maybe the Seeding Committee had broken into the Elmer's the evening the seeding process transpired.
GSOA few years ago, Governor Purnell, after attending the athletic event in Fayetteville , the Management Trainee Squad at the local Waffle House had a miscommunication issue concerning the tally of our dining bill. A trusted member of our traveling convoy will humbly reimburse yall a free pecan waffle upon request.
I think Forsyth county is a little relevant, even if they are playing "easy Charlotte teams", Butler beat Indy 31-0 in a rivalry game, east beat them 49-7.
Naw, we are all one big disfunctional family! Hey when we play each other then yea, but other then that- Go Triad area!
No one overlooks Guilford county. They have proven themselves with Northern Guilford, Page, and HP Andrews all winning titles since 2011. In Northern's case it's been multiple titles. However, when was Forsyth County's last title? I think it was the early 90s with East Forsyth, but I could be wrong.Nobody overlooks triad teams, although Guilford County carries most of the weight.
The Charlotte-704 metro still has the best teams and most title wins/appearances from 2A-4AA in this century and since end of the last.

Easy to improve when you have open enrollment and can get any player from anywhere without them having to sit out a year.lol poor Forsyth county. I give them credit for most improved triad team the past 5 years. They're showing up more often late in the playoffs. Part of High Point is in Forsyth county if that counts for anything lol.
as for triad they forgot about Reidsville(Rockingham cty) btw.
You just couldn't stop, you had to bring that up. Ever thought lack of middle school football in Forsyth might have something to with it. No development of big men, no where for them to play do to weight limits in youth football.Easy to improve when you have open enrollment and can get any player from anywhere without them having to sit out a year.
No, Catholic cannot give scholarships and any student that comes to CC from another HS must sit out a full year all 365 days before they can play sports. Can't Catholic schools scholarship and bring kids in from anywhere. Not aiming that as an insult, actually thought that was the case.
I know Parkland won it all in 2001 beating Crest and I believe Carver won a title around that time as well with Coach Wilkes.

Also the fact that Forsyth County has no middle school football is a joke and I believe needs to be addressed immeditaly.
I don't believe CMS is the richest district in the state, but they have it.You got the funds to fund it?
The team Catholic plays Friday night is 5 miles from the Forsyth county line, I would certainly call them Triad. Let's not forget Thomasville. I know the other ones are always talking about the 4AA schools but cc14 brought up the smaller schools. Can't believe these dudes talking smack with all this hardware floating around in these triad schools... Y'all do know who all the triad schools are right? Wow. I actually respected you guys too... Smh

Also forgot about Carver and Parkland, thought Carver was in Guilford county for some reason.
Do you even realize that High Point is even in Guilford county? You thought WS Carver was in Greensboro. Carver has only been around about 60 years.I brought up HPA cause theyd won it all since 2011. However, different peoplevsee the Triad as different areas. Some as said include Rockingham and Alamance Counties, and some people I know don't. Just a personal preference thing it seems.
It's been a day lol I'm able to make a mistake.Do you even realize that High Point is even in Guilford county? You thought WS Carver was in Greensboro. Carver has only been around about 60 years.
