Tri-County 6 Conference Football 2017
1. Lee County, 5-0, 11-0
2T. Triton, 3-2, 8-3
2T. Southern, Lee 3-2, 7-4
2T. Union Pines 3-2, 7-4
5. Harnett Central, 1-4, 2-9
6. Western Harnett, 0-5, 2-9
New conference, new name, and four new head coaches enter this new league (Southern Lee, Union Pines, Harnett Central, and Western Harnett). Look for Lee County to be the heavy favorite to win the conference title. Triton, Southern Lee, and Union Pines hope to spoil the Yellow Jackets' title hopes. Triton looks to build on last season's success. New Southern Lee head coach, Ken Neal hopes to lead Southern Lee to another playoff berth. New Union Pines head coach Matt Quinn hopes to expand on the six season win total the Vikings have had in the past three seasons. Huge rebuilding projects will be taking place at Harnett Central (moving down from 4A) and Western Harnett as both teams have new head coaches (Matthew Migliore at Harnett Central and Blake Culbertson at Western Harnett).
