I think Trinity had 3 first downs and one was in garbage time vs backups. Of course, it was the first game of the season and both teams were sloppy with penalties and such. The other two times I saw them (Wheatmore, PG) they were just as bad if not worse. What they lack in talent, they make up for by being undisciplined and outcoached.
As far as Randleman looking like Starmount on offense, it might be a similar style but the speed at receiver and QB talent aren't in the same zip code.
I still think ER is a really good team, but they would need a miracle of epic proportions to beat MA.
Everyone forgets how good mountain heritage is until that one trick pony runs you over
Based on the highlights the offense looks improved from last year. I believe they will be a tough out for anyone.

Starmount doesn't have a receiver close to the talent of #1 at Randleman. He is as good as the Reidsville guys in my book. He has offers from UNCC and Coastal Carolina not sure who else
I believe that one of the touchdowns was an 88 yard kickoff return. The other was a 35 yard pass reception…
Final was 57-13 with ER only putting up 7 in fourth quarter. So after three it was 50-13…

Yeah, I went back and watched the video again. I remembered him taking a handoff but it was an orbit.
He seems just athletic enough to go 0-1 vs freaking Trinity.

Yeah Trinity loss was a shock to everyone who follows local high school football. Funny thing is you’ve apparently seen Trinity play three times! Heck that’s almost more than I’ve seen ER. You ain’t an alum are you? Looks like we should know some of the same folks…
And I wouldn’t put it past Roundabout High to have lost to the Bulldogs on purpose just to lower ER’s RPI!!!

I guess "G5" schools are still considered a lower level. It isn't meant as an insult in any way. Wake had a big lanky receiver named Scotty Washington a few years ago that was really raw coming out of high school. Turned out to be a really good player. This guy reminds me a little of him.
No, I have a family member that plays for them. I am a Yadkin County native. I only know a few people in the Trinity/Archdale area.
Only reason defending Roundabout is because people keep bringing up Trinity game. Before that they were highly rated in EVERYONE’S thinking. Especially after winning second game. Most digital “experts” have them in west semis in 2A.
I wouldn’t care, personally, if they went winless during a season. Just that a few folks are diminishing the ER win over them because of that other game.
In about a week it all begins again and then perhaps we will learn more. As always playoffs come down to matchups the further a team goes. Some are better for a team than others

Nah. You need to cross the line into Va if you want big deer. I have seen lots of spikes in Patrick and Floyd County bigger than mature bucks in Yadkin and Surry. Even Stokes county deer are bigger. Yadkin is the center for cwd
