Lot of difference between our non-conference schedule now and playing High Point Central, Davie County, North Davidson, and even Mount Airy. When Wheatmore has you in for their homecoming game, and kicks your tail, there's not a lot to brag about.
I hope we turn it around too. But I believe 5-6 would be a real accomplishment. More likely 3-8. Regardless of offensive scheme, there's no passion, very little sideline coaching or adjustments. I wish it were different, but we're simply not very good. We have half a dozen talented players. Even playing those both ways doesn't put us in a position to win. There are still some discipline issues that need to be fixed.
Leadership, from the top on down, is the only thing that will right this ship. And leadership means teamwork, professionalism, integrity, and accountability...from the superintendent to the players. But it starts at the top.
