SWE is young and with new coach that I feel will be ok once he gets out from under the shadow of the Cobbs. But Hunt ran the ball all night as they have in there wins over Rose and Beddingfield. Waiting for release of QB Mike Thomas from ACL surgery to run OC Mike Pittman’s uptempo spread game. Name sound familiar he played at both SWE and Tarboro.

We got shut out by North Pitt last week. North Pitt. lol

The coach came in following a 12-2 season. What was there to rebuild? Shelby and Reidsville aren't the only schools that have good seasons on a regular basis.

Seems like a team would rather be conference champions than to not be. There are plenty of teams that not only don't win the state championship, but don't win their conference championship either. It's nothing to look down on. We can kiss it goodbye this year. We're not good enough. And I don't know how we even managed to win it last year. We weren't great by any means last year, and was down 24-7 in the championship deciding game. But like I said, there was nothing to rebuild when he got here. Was definitely poised to reload. But we are rebuilding now BECAUSE of him.
