You are right. Mediocrity was a little harsh. As long as Robbinsville is the only decent team in 1A West they will be on top of the world 
I got a ? Gal.... What does it feel like to get beat by a team that your supposed to beat year in and year out but can only come up with a .500 winning percentage in the past 10 years... I'd love to have all those "EXCUSES" from those 5 years piled up lol!
How many of those 13 have y'all won since the early 80s?? Since 1983, Murphy has won six and Swain has won seven, and both teams have played in the final game a few more times and have owned the SMC. You can't ignore the past 32 years. Hell Army won a lot of national titles back in the leather helmet days too but they don't go around pretending to be a better program today than Alabama, FSU, etc.
What's your point Nole fan? Are you trying to say R'ville took almost a 30 year break and Murphy and Swain is still nowhere close to catching them lol? I think that's what everyone else gets from it. Go look at Most of Alabama's championships and tell me what years they were.... It doesn't matter when you won them, all that matters is who has the biggest pile! The way I see it, if Robbinsville took another 20 years from winning one Swain nor Murphy would never catch them. we don't go around pretending to be anything we are not, we just have the most state championships in western nc and the most recent so I don't think anyone can really say anything to argue with that... Well except you that it is.
Just think how many more Murphy or Swain would have if they didn't have to face each other lol! For years those were the best two teams in 1a. Unfortunately they couldn't both win it. I guess the point I'm making is just because Robbinsville FINALLY won last year after all those years (and may again this year?) doesn't all of the sudden make them a better program than Murphy and Swain. They may have the better "team" right now but not the better "program". There is a difference. You really think Robbinsville can sustain this recent success and stay on Murphy and Swain's level for the long haul?
Why should Swain beat you every year? Because of numbers? Really? So Smoky Mountain should beat us every year, and North Henderson, and Tuscola, and every other higher division team should beat the smaller division team everytime they play because of numbers? This same argument gets used by the Graham County faithful every year and you wanna talk about excuses...that is your biggest one. when have you seen me make an excuse about Robbinsville beating Swain? You guys wanna pin your hat on the last 10 years. Go back 20-30 years and let's see if you will be chest thumping. What is the head-to-head match up over the last 30 years? But it should be one sided right since we have the bigger numbers...at least that is the Black Knights excuse. You wanna thump your chest when you beat Swain or Murphy but when they smash you you wanna cry around and say it is because you are bigger. Can't have it big ways. Sorry.
Nole fan I don't think anyone on here has said anything about having the best program. And gal we since 1960 swain holds a 32-25-2 advantage on R'ville so that's definitely something not to be beating your chest about. I done have the scoop on you gal so let's not go there. I don't ever cry about getting beat or numbers. It's football, when you get beat you get beat. I wish I could go back and get all the excuses made from you two trolls when your team gets beat

Hey the only reason I said anything is because one of your fellow knight posters said that Murphy and Swain shouldn't talk until they win 13 titles, which is ridiculous when you take into account the past 30 years. I was just pointing that out. Carry on.

Now if you want to crunch numbers and I believe we did this last year too, in that 10 year stretch that you guys were .500 against Swain, what was the record of the best Swain team faced?
