Last night saw Hayesville post another win to move to 4-1. It was a good win for a rebuilding program. But the big step for the Jackets was in the 3rd quarter. Leading 25-16 at the half the Jackets kicked off to the Falcons. NG quickly punched the Jackets with 2 TD drives to take a 30-25 lead. In past years the Jackets would usually hang their heads and roll over. Instead the Jackets picked up the intensity and fought back to post the win. A big step forward for a team and fan base that has been struggling. The Jackets still have a lot of work ahead to be a consistent contender in the SMC, but the culture is changing. Good job players and coaches and good luck the rest of the way.
