Boys:

Seems like Salisbury and North Rowan will battle it out for the CCC men's title this year. Lexington has a much better team under new coach TJ Holt, but i think its a 2-team race. Watched Thomasville lose to a horrible South Rowan team last night. Doesn't seem like they made the right call on their new coach and are having an absolute horrible year. East, West, South all fighting to stay off the bottom, but looks like West & South are the worst teams in the Conference by FAR

Girls:

Lexington girls have made HUGE strides and are looking to win the conference undefeated, with Salisbury close behind. East is battling and could pull an upset on the right night. North Rowan is down this season and is struggling. West is trying to have a decent season but will probably finish middle of the conference. Thomasville didn't even have a girls team due to discipline and grades.

CCC is weak in basketball overall this year. Some of the traditional teams are down or just barely hanging onto a winning season.

This is what happens when you run an award winning, remarkably gifted, coach away because you don't have any sense. Look at what has happened at Ledford with the same coach. As a North Davidson guy, with no real pony in this race beyond hoping that Ledford doesn't beat us by 50 next week after they were an embarrassment last year, I'm embarrassed for Thomasville and mighty proud of Ledford (can't believe I just typed that!). Especially with all the bluster and barking that came out of Thomasville with the new hire.

I had a friend who goes to the Ledford games and I was shocked to hear that a large contingent of Thomasville people, including huge numbers of former players, regularly attend Ledford games in support of the new coach.

I'm sure @ocdavis31 would have much to say here as he seems to be deeply embedded in the Thomasville world, but it's one of the craziest things I've seen around here in a while. I'll be interested to see them play oak grove after they beat Asheboro.
