Can the Sugar Jets continue their incredible run and win a state title for the first time in almost 40 years? This team seems to have the magic, but Saturday is the acid test.

Came into the playoffs with a losing record and now in the championship game...awesome.
I'd like to be able to offer a coherent explanation, but i honestly think it might be several things. I saw them in the FHS Christmas tournament and then they knocked us out in the 2nd round. They've got talent and sometimes it takes some time to put it all together. Also a team might just get hot at the right time, like NCSU in 1983.
“The Mountain” as some call it turned out to be a pretty solid league. Enka’s OOC also included Pisgah, Mountain Heritage, Murphy, (2x each) and 2A Forbush during Christmas. Those teams are as strong if not stronger than at least the first three rounds of the Regional was for the Sugar Jets.
Chockley and Dill have been great all year, it sounds like others on the roster have stepped their game up.

3A this year was fairly weak.
They did play in a tough conference and Chockley and Dill are hard matchups with their size playing guard.

Could this be the Cinderella story for Enka. Does remind lot like NC. State of 1983.
Good season for the Enka girls. Congratulations for their effort of making to the State Championship game. Also congratulations to Northwood for winning their State Championship title.
