STATE FINALS 1A BOYS

Interesting thing about this is before the season people (myself included) said on here and other places that they were confident Hayesville could compete for the west title but basically that you never knew what to think about the charter schools in the East. So the good news for Hayesville is they get the one eastern charter that has been in the west, that they’re familiar with, and that some of Hayesville players have played (and beaten) in the playoffs before.

The Harvey brothers for CC are really crafty getting to the bucket. I imagine they will play a much more deliberate pace than Hayesville has seen the last few rounds. Will be interested to see what they throw at McTaggart defensively. They have one big who may even be a little taller and longer than McTaggart but gives up about 40 pounds, and another forward who is built like a football player, athletic, and physical but gives up 3-4 inches.

For any Hayesville people mad that your dish company gives Atlanta stations instead of Asheville, YouTubeTV will give Asheville stations to Hayesville addresses. Might be a good week to use the free trial if you have solid internet and can’t make the trip to Raleigh. I also seem to remember the games streaming through stations’ pages in the past.

I think you can stream the games via the station website, last fall I had to stream Mitchell's game against Tarboro in football because the Charlotte stations didn't carry it.

So how can I livestream in Andrews. We do not get My40 on our Cable carrier
If you still have an antenna lying around and can pick up the towers off Joanna Bald it will come in as Channel 13.2. If that's not an option and you have good home internet I would look on WLOS/My40 website later in the week for streaming links. In the past the Cable Company in Cherokee Co. has also gotten their WLOS feed switched to My40 when Murphy has been in the state finals. I don't know that they'd do that for Hayesville, but it'd be nice. I've always wondered why they carry WLOS but not My40 since they're co-owned and My40 usually comes as a digital subchannel on the same signal.

Yes I don’t understand why they don’t. I will keep looking into it later this week. Thanks for the info. I really want to watch the game. I guess I could drive out and watch it in person but not at $4.10 gal 😂

Could always ask Cable Co if there’s any way to switch the feeds. I’d bet way more people in Cherokee Co want to watch the Hayesville game that the Hurricane hockey game WLOS has scheduled.

I can’t find where it’s on the Upcoming games list
If you search under North Carolina High School Athletic Association instead of the particular school, then all the championship games show up as upcoming. I prefer the My40 if you can get it because I think the announcers and production are usually better.

Thank you. I will try my best to get my40 and NFHS will be my backup

Somebody in the west, should out lottery them. It happens in the east. Years ago when this "Charter" crap started it was Rocky Mount Prep, after a few years Voyager out did them, 1A school in a office park in downtown Durham SMH!!!!!, then Kenstrel Heights had a few years but DPI shut them down, then Henderson Collegiate, now Wilson Prep "AA AAU All Stars". All have 3 or 4 year runs and new "snakes" get them. When you look at all time rosters and 3/4 of the roster where not at the school as 9th or 10th graders you just shake your head.

The link is up to stream via the TV stations websites for people who don’t get the channels or have NFHS subscription.

Officiating was garbage in that half. Hayesville couldn't have played much worse by their standards though.
From most of the games I’ve watched today they were letting them play. But one game had 23 fouls in 1st half. Lol
