The updated poster has Mount Airy with 781 wins up from 777, they must have found some wins. Shelby & Reidsville remained the same. They may gain some on Reidsville over the next few years, they have a new coach and are supposed to be down some this year. 2A preseason power index has them at #7 to start the season and that is low for them. I think they are usually top 5.

As a Thomasville fan, what intrigues me is that three of the top six played together in the old WNCHSAA South Piedmont conference, along with number 22 Salisbury and number 28 Lexington. People can argue all day long about how that association’s records should be counted, but there have been few conferences in NC history stronger. It also included Asheboro when they were tough, Statesville and South Rowan. Had to win the conference to even make the playoffs. If you were lucky, then you got to play Hickory, Kings Mountain or Shelby.

Reidsville is not supposed to be down at all. Actually supposed to be better.
