Tuesday: Var. Girls Hayesville vs Murphy
Var Boys Cherokee vs Rosman

The only good matchup I see is Cherokee vs Rosman boys IMO I do think Hayesville girls are playing great and have peaked at the right time and might surprise some teams in the State Playoffs. Good luck to all

I would say aside from Swain boys not making the final it has been a par for the course conference tournament. And although it was clearly an upset, Swain's record was definitely deceiving, they racked up a lot of wins this season in one of the weakest SMC boys groups I can recall.

I'm not saying Swain doesn't have some talent, but in a typical SMC season they're not a regular season conference champion imo. In all honesty I'd be slightly surprised if any of the SMC boys teams make it very far in the playoffs.

The girls side of the SMC should be a different story, Cherokee is a clear title contender and Murphy could make it to regionals with a good draw.

Swain , Cherokee ,and Rosman pretty good in any year and Robbinsville has come on pretty solid.
