AC Reynolds must be loaded or Shelby is a little down. Just asking a question.
Ac, very well coached, with alot of Talent on team, they make very few mistakes. It was close at half, then mistakes just let them run table, not to mention plenty of bad tackling.
Curious to see how far they go, do believe they win there conference.

Not right now, maybe by the end of the season if we can get things fixed. Then of course I'm sure them dogs will get better too.
Yall need to worry bout KM this week not us, we got 6 weeks to go before we meet..lol
I feel bad for our conference foes. Yall will be "figuring it out" against them. Lol.
In all seriousness though, the worst thing to happen to every team left on Shelby's schedule is Shelby starting 0-2. That includes Crest and Burns or anybody in 2A for that matter.

Guess we’ll see. Sometimes you graduate chemistry. Last years team was great. 0-2 could have a negative impact. Similar happened to us when we graduated our leaders. Hope not tho. Pulling for Shelby and WRH rematch but a lot of really good teams in 2a on both sides of the state
Lol the sky’s falling because Shelby lost to two very good teams.…both legitimate state title contender. KM should be the 3A favorite right now and AC will make noise in the POs.

2018 Shelby beats Freedom 31 to 21 in opener then loses 3 strait.17 to 14 at AC Reynolds
32 to 14 to a Burns team that finished 4 and 8.
27 to 6 to Crest which finished 9 and 5. Shelby was 1 and 3 .The Golden Lions them beat Kings Mountain 28 to 23 .Kings Mountain would finish 13 and 3 losing to Charlotte Catholic in 3a state championship game , with that win Shelby would roll off 12 strait wins including beating a 14 and 0 Hibriten team in Western final on there way to winning 2aa State Championship 42 to 21 vs North Davidson, I'm not counting Shelby out just yet they have been in worser situations only concern is coaching staff makeup equiped to handle this like coach Ware and staff was able to over come that 1 and 3 start .

Going off memory......you are correct. That was a very weird year for Burns. I have no idea how we beat down Shelby that year.
Just about anyone in 2a would be 0-2 with that schedule. They still the best in 2a imo.
Keyword is maybe for Monroe. First 5 opponents on there schedule are combined 0-10 so far. We'll see.
Shelby will be fine with that tough schedule they have it’s no joke they will figure it out and then watch out everybody in the west cause the redemption tour begins with L’s!!
Caught Shelby at a good time, apparently. We should’ve beaten Alexander Central, Ashbrook and especially Stuart Cramer. Had some hard luck losses.

They've lost to formidable opponents
To be fair, at least 3 out of the five are not normally pushovers, especially not for anyone 2A
2011 Started 1-4 lost by 3 in the Western Finals on a last second score to West Stoke who went on to win the State Championship

We will be ok....just have to figure some thing out.
I still think this Shelby team will still be in the mix in the 2A division. However, I just don’t think it has shown itself to be a great team, one of our teams that we as fans felt could be competitive against any team in NC, regardless of the classification. The offense is still going to be a problem for 2A opposition to deal with. The starting runningback returns soon, and that will be a plus.
However, there are concerns, defensively. The one kid, fastest player on last year’s team, and a very good DB, ended up a Stuart Cramer, and it definitely doesn’t help matters that our two best defensive players, one a D1 recruit, the other a D1 commit, came into the season with health concerns, and will have to battle through the season, in spite of it.
All that said, if we lose to Crest Friday, stick a fork in Shelby…… Burns beat the brakes off Crest, but they can’t be that special, however a legit contender. I do believe the Bulldogs and the RedHawks are the class of 2A at the moment. Props to the Bulldogs out East, too.
