That was a strong Shelby team that I saw tonight, a complete team.
Coaches dancing on the field, allowing some players AFTER Kings Mountain leaves midfield to dance on the midfield, BAD BAD LOOK...
You won, get off the field bottom line..... And I dont care who likes it, or calls me a non-fan,..... .that was ridiculous, were supposed to be better than that....

KM had the option on cutting the lights off like Crest did many years back😂😂
I guess Im old school and things change......... But I just dont agree with that, even if its happened to us before....

Lion Attack I agree, this team has size, speed and this QB keeps playing like that, we will be hard to handle... Run blocking needs work, especially blocking the edge but itll come around.... Defense back in the four man front looked good save a couple plays.....

I get what u saying just being sarcastic, I did see us go to shake hands and pushing and shoving started going on..the coaches had to separate players Loyd pulled all his from field
they laughed at me for saying 2015-2016 level squad. we'll see how the rest of the season goes. clean up the unclassy crap, and get better. the sky is the limit.

Yes, that’s a very big Shelby team with speed. I was impressed, and very impressed with Lee. He extended some plays, and made some great throws in the process. Do you know his stats for the game?
I left with a few minutes left in the game, because to my surprise, that game was packed. I assumed many would be a little apprehensive about going to the game. I had a hard time finding a parking spot. Obviously, I missed the post game stuff you spoke off.
Defensively, that D line is hell. Hopper and Pierce put on a show. The Lions made a statement tonight, period.

Kick coverage needs work, sec got beat one to may times tonight.

He was 20-30 275 I think they said and we had 238 rushing
yes, that seems to be a constant problem in recent years, kick return coverage.

Score could have been worse inside the 5 and another in red zone left no points...
This Shelby team looked really good from last week to this week, all we want to see is getting better week after week.

they can't get cocky. after the game i felt they were a little over confident. great game, but let's keep working. crest i predict will be a tough game for us.
Is Shelby that good or is King Mountain down? That score shocked me. I was expecting a closer game.

I think this is a combination of Shelby having some sense about their defense and KM losing their YOUNG MOUNTIES (after 4 years). Shelby has several young playmakers that will create problems all year. Figured it would have been a closer final.
Km will and can be a better fb team..I think they will be.
As for Shelby, this team is pretty good right now.. but only can get better, inless they get to big headed.

shelby is that good, already. no cockiness at all. these guys have all played together for a quite awhile now. most of our starters played valuable minutes last year. full spring etc helped as well. obviously making the correct defensive changes was a huge help.
km can and will be good soon. they have the talent, i think their just young. give them a few weeks, they'll be a tough out.

Lee reminded me a lot of Isaiah Bess. Can take a hit and extend the play in the pocket and find the receiver with a man hanging off of him. Shelby running game will be fine. After doing that to Kings Mountain imagine what Bessemer City, Thomas Jefferson and Cherryville are thinking. This Shelby team will shred 2A.
Have to agree with you. Coaches dancing on KM logo is a terrible look. Totally classless. You expect a lot more discipline from coaches.
The team was in middle of field after game to line up to shake hands. I did see players dance on logo, same as KM did us last year. But I didn't see any coaches dancing what I did see as far as coaches is when players went to dance
Lloyd and his staff came over to run Shelby players off, then whole Km team came behind them and the pushing and shoving started, I did see coaches from both sides trying to seperate...I was on track getting my daughter a cheerleader...so I was eye level.

A Shelby alumni had a son on KM’s team who graduated in 2020. The guy is a friend of mine on Facebook. He posted after their banquet(2019) that Lloyd was taking shots at Shelby for whatever reason during their banquet, and he couldn’t understand why, and concluded his post saying, “but, once a Lion always a Lion” in regards to himself. Obviously, that wasn’t very classy of Lloyd, and if KM had won, you all would have seen the same shenanigans from them. Trust me. It’s a rivalry!
