SHELBY vs KINSTON 2A CHAMPIONSHIP

I read somewhere (maybe facebook cant remember) that Coach Ware so far in his head coaching career has been to the title game more than he hasn't been to the title game

Pretty spectacular coaching resume already....

Good luck to the Lions Saturday...Bring another home
I believe a fourth round,third round, and 3 championship games.Not bad.

Not sure about that unless he played defense

The game was won by West Stokes by 3 points. Had our starting QB not gotten injured on the first series of the game, we would have been able to put up more points than we did. Our backup hadn't played much all season...that was a huge stage to come in on. Also, had we went for it on 4th and 1, game over. Over and done with...congrats on the championship. Your QB put his team on his back that season....that was awesome to watch.

good luck Saturday pulling for the west

For Gieselman, while there may be some tweaks for the finals, the mindset won’t change.

“We’re just going to do what we do and play Kinston football,” Gieselman said. “You can look at ourselves offensively and we’re going to be able to give our defensive team the best look possible. We can spread it out and throw it with the best of them and we can run the rock with the best of them. The passing game doesn’t necessarily worry us — we’re going to be able to stop both phases of the game: run and pass.”

Don't know the coach at all, but sounds a little like the Donald Trump of coaching. Definitely locker room bulletin board material.

Bralpa I sure hope a lot of fans make it today with a forecast of sunny and temps in the 70's.

Looking at 70 for Kinston and he has a championship belt around his helmet no lie. Looks like the WWE title.
