Let it go man! #1 I made a statement based on what I've seen with my own two eyes. #2 I posted my statement before you ever committed on anything I said. Add 1 and 2 together that's leads us to #3 You essentially called me a lie by responding to a comment I made, it wasn't the other way around.

I doubt that. I think the lions would have lost to half their conference based on how they played
with that personel they had last night.
I don't know about half the conference, but the struggle was real last night. The missing players were very apparent.
My point being most everybody predicted a lopsided win for the Lions which did not happen.That is why YOU PLAY THE GAME.Anything can happen in these playoffs.
Shelby missing 3 key players and several miscues and turnovers. .
Not taking anything away from MP, but no way they are better than ACR, SP, or KM as a team. They were 3-5 earlier this season and were blown out by Monroe. Better you say their coach had a great game plan with alot of help from your team. You were posting off post game emotion and not logic.
Perfect example is how Seadog says every week Crest would not beat SP now because they are playing much better football than earlier in the year.I was really impressed with MP last night.
I alway say i hate when we have a game that there out of school....
In almost every game we played when there out we play like were lost....
We have enough talent those 3 players shouldn't mattered..
We drove up and down feild on them, just mistakes cost us..
They did play a great game plan though..

Yeah, we played like crap Friday night. No doubt that the suspended players created a huge distraction. BTW Lion Attack...don't post insider stuff on here. I know Coach was wanting that to be hush hush until kickoff....that could have played a huge advantage in creating a game plan for MP. I know it was spread all over carolinapreps because it was seen on here. Lot of MP fans over there that probably passed that on to their coaches early Friday. We can't be letting inside info out like that!!! The three players out plus our defensive coordinator battling double pneumonia hurt. Devine was up in the pressbox but that's not his usual spot.
But yeah we definitely let MP play us closer than we should have. We gave them their first 14 points, fumble and blown assignments. Should have never been that close. Turnovers hurt us. I'm a little glad this game was close. Hopefully will be a little of an eye opener and cause us to come out hungry and firing on all cylinders next Friday. Coach can definitely use this game as a motivator for playing a complete mistake free game this Friday. If we play Shelby football on both sides of the ball Friday we should win going away. We have the potential....we just have to execute. Western Finals again.....man we're spoiled!!!!!

Agree. Hundreds upon hundreds of kids following each other's Twitter and Facebook and their are secrets? Wouldn't matter anyway. Coaches only have the film before any change. How you gonna prepare for something you have no film on or just speculation?
See you really have ZERO connection to the team other a fan in the stands (occasionally) so please SHUT UP and stick to updating everyone when the "feed" is working or telling visitors where to go eat. When it came out about the suspensions, Coach Ware's words were "Don't post this on any message boards." Now why would he say that Shelby Lion?
Let me help you....let's say you are going up against a team with an all star passing attack. You are going to prepare your defense for a passing attack, correct? But low and behold you find out now they are without their #1, #4 and #5 receivers. Hmmm...I bet they are going to go to more of a ground game....we better make sure we talk to our guys about defending the run. Criticize, criticize, criticize.....your resentment in leaps and bounds.

So basically what you are saying is Lion Attacks post helped Mt Pleasant game plan because our all world passing attack was without three receivers, so they in turn game planned for a run game.... Well ill be darn, it worked... To the tune of one player running 30 sum odd times for nearly 200 yards and 3 touchdowns....

Nice win for Shelby while under some adversity (key players out / DC sick).
I know a lot of Shelby posters feel that Shelby would've won this game by a lot if they had their full offensive set of weapons, but I'm not so sure it's much different...
I've thought that Shelby would beat MP badly all 4 times they've played in the playoffs, but every time MP gives Shelby a great battle that is closer than expected. Maybe it's time to just give MP some credit and say "Great game!" For whatever reason, MP always has a great game plan and plays relatively mistake-free against Shelby - credit to their coaching staff and players for not backing down from Shelby like some other teams often do...
To me, the key for Shelby going forward is to re-focus. Seems the team has been pretty sloppy for the past several weeks, with injuries, outside distractions, many 15-yard penalties, and several turnovers.
If Shelby plays a clean game, it will be hard for any 2A team to beat them; however, keep up with the penalties, turnovers, and such and Shelby will exit the playoffs before going to Raleigh.
I know the coaches will have the team ready this Friday.

You really are dumb....it is fortunate that in this situation it wasn't leaked until Friday morning around 4:55 AM....somewhat late to try and change things up....but still enough time to change who you key on. Had this news snuck out earlier in the week (when it actually was found out) to a better team than MP yes, it could have really screwed us. Every coach is looking for the slightest advantage in the game of football. I figured you were knowledgeable about the game. DaDa was the workhorse Friday and the MVP of the game. Have we had a RB be the MVP of any game this year? Not that I can remember....why? Because we adjusted our gameplan to be more run oriented since we were missing several receivers. Are you starting to figure this thing out?
