Can't believe he isn't getting more looks. He may be short but he is tough as nails and has great vision. When you can throw it nearly 60 yards accurately on the run then many are missing the boat on this kid.

Yes you are right about the QB he looked good and Glenn looked like they had good athletes.
no doubt he is a one man wrecking crew. he has good skill folks but you take him off that team they might be 6-5.
No doubt Joe is great but a qb only goes as far as his line. North's skill numbers and depth at wr and rb also help take the pressure off. Offense has all the tools to be multi dimensional this year
My brother and me went to the Tabor Jamboree to watch the Vikings and then we left and drove over to West Davidson to catch East Forsyth. NW is really struggling without Turner and Hennigan. I know Turner will be out for a few weeks with the injury but from what I was told there is no telling about Hennigan and how long he could be out. Nobody around us knew the injury but 1 person said he could be out for a few weeks but it wasn't anything major. I know NW plays a weaker Non-Conference schedule compared to most 4a teams.(Smith, Western, Northern, SEG, Grimsley, Reidsville) some of those teams are good and they may have some battles without them 2 on the field. If they're not back for the Northern game Northern may be able to beat NW again this year or at least hang with them and make it a great game. If Northern beats NW again this year I'm going to start talking about the Nighthawk curse! Lmao!
As for East Forsyth, they are huge and fast! There seemed to be some confusion in the secondary on a couple of the plays and the ND QB took advantage of them. I'm sure the East coaches will have it cleaned up. ND didn't have much of a running game against East but the passing game was on point. The North Davidson kid at QB is the real deal and if they can play a little D and block for just a couple seconds he'll dice teams up in the CPC conference. East looks like they have re-loaded and will be tough to beat in the Piedmont Triad conference. When East went up against Ledford they crushed them with their 1st string guy then they put in the backups after 1 series.
All in all I love the NewBridge Jamboree! Great way to get out and see alot of teams with not much gas. I'm ready for some Football!!!

The defense tried to move star DB cone to safety with all American sophomore Khalid Martin to try and prevent deep passes and they put the second string DB against one of North Davidsons top WR's. I think after they saw it didn't work they moved everyone back to the normal positions. North looked good passing the ball. Good QB and good Targets
North Davidson looked good passing against E.F.
Butts is one of the best passing QB's in the state and has a lot of good targets.
E.F. looked good running and passing against N.D. The E.F. offensive line was big and athletic. I hope that's the biggest line N.D. sees all year.

Agree with you about how good Joe Butts is, great QB and all around athlete. Everytime we are at NC State, we tell the coaches that we play with R. Wilson 2.0. Somebody is going to get a stud when they sign him. IMO, North has a lot of great skill players to utilize this year, quite a few of these young men can play at the next level. I have said it before on this forum, our Offense can play with anybody in the state. We will see, it should be fun to watch. GO BLACK KNIGHTS!!!
