Many may know this but some younger posters may not. North Davidson will always be tied to Scotland County as Laurinburg sent us a true coaching icon in North Davidson Athletics. Pete Jones who won nearly 300 games and 2 state titles in baseball and nearly 500 wins and a state title in basketball. Our Gym is most appropriately named after him. Pete is still going strong in his 80's and plays a lot of golf. Wouldn't be shocked at all if Pete doesn't make his way down to Pate on Friday Night.

Pete is a fine Man!, still getting around as good as ever!, I don't recall many times not seeing Him at ND home games!
Oh wow I didn't realize that Pete came from there. Very cool! Never met Pete but he's a North Davidson legend like Palmer, Hinkle, Lambros.
