Three new coaches have been hired and most teams are already practicing or are going to begin practicing early next week. What are your predictions for the Three Rivers Conference? I believe that South Columbus will get back on its feet this year and win the Three Rivers Conference, but they'll have to take down Fairmont in their on back yard to do so. I am hearing that Whiteville is going to reload as well. I am interested to see how Coach Pierce takes over our program at WC. He's a good man and seems to be a good coach.

1-Fairmont 2A
2-Whiteville 1A
3-South Columbus 2A
4-Red Springs 2A
5-St. Paul's 2A
6-South Robeson 1A
7-East Columbus 1A
8-West Columbus 1A

That's the way I see it. If everyone stay's healthy and show's up.
The bottom four could change or all be similar records. Should be interesting to watch and see who stands out!

Why Fairmont first T-Mac? I heard that they lost their entire defensive unit and had to replace a lot of lineman up front on both sides of the ball. I know that having Caulder and some weapons back put them in a good position to win, but a conference championship? I think that South Columbus is the most complete team coming back and I feel like Coach Dove will get the ball in Dennis Leggett's hands more this year and the Stallions will win the conference. Fairmont doesn't play well on the road and they have to travel to Tabor City this year. I think it will be a barnburner as always, but the Stallions come out on top. When it happens, tell everyone you heard it here first. I just hope my Vikings can take down South Robeson and East Columbus. We beat them both last year. Does anyone know if Fred Evans signed to play anywhere? I have not heard.

My picks are:

1. South Columbus
2. Fairmont
3. Whiteville
4. Red Springs
5. St. Pauls
6. West Columbus
7. South Robeson
8. East Columbus

From what I've seen Coach Dove is the real deal and SC is loaded with athletes. Watch out is all I have to say. cant wait to see them in action. For the first time in three seasons I believe we are about to get back to the South Columbus Football roots!! You heard it here!

I'm hearing the same! You guys already had athletes! I was talking to a coach at SC and he told me that your #21 didn't touch the ball nearly as much as he should have last year! He will be back, right?

Oh yeah. He's back and he has some help as well. Should be a fun year watching it unfold. Coaching is everything and we have a great coach.

I think SC will be team to beat this year.
Coach Pierce will do a good job at WC if numbers come out.
