ND stops Salisbury on 4 downs after a good drive! Knight ball with 2:07 left. Unsportsmanlike on Salisbury gives ND the ball at the Hornet 42.
Nevermind. No free first down. Salisbury takes timeouts while North takes knees and gets the ball back after a punt on their own 24 with 1 min left.
North wins 24-21! Never been happier to be wrong lol. That might have just punched NDs ticket to the playoff. Now for Ledford.

Pulling for ND against Ledford next week.
North got the monkey off their back tonight. After losing so many close games this year they finished. Down 14-3 and 21-10, kept fighting and pulled it out.
Salisbury qb was impressive with his legs. Big kid that can really run the ball well in open field. His short throws were good, his long throws... Not so much.
Salisbury D was legit against the run. They ran a straight 4-3 cover 0 against North most of the night and dared North to beat them throwing the ball with no deep safety until later in the game. Jenkins hit his receivers right in the hands and they dropped the ball a lot early. He also overthrew a bit when the Hornet pass rush flushed him out. Overall he had a very good game though imo.
North gave up quite a few big plays on D but really stepped up when they had to, especially later on.
Both teams played well, Salisbury owned the first half and North the second. Good game Hornets, and good luck in the playoffs. Defintely a team to watch out for.

Jus-ah-fan... came to have a hot dog. No UGA anywhere as I suspected. It’s ok though. Match.com is still alive. Other than that. Your credibility is ZERO. FYI. Your all star coaching staff with 54 returning starters got it handed to them tonight.... let me guess. It was the officials. No wait. The weather. No wait. The Russians. ND lost almost every statistical category tonight minus the W. Anybody else would give a node to coaching. But it’s ok. Understand nd that’s not something your imagination can handle. #BUM

I kind of have to weigh in here.. I’m a North Davidson graduate... so I don’t feel like I’m a biased opinion in a negative way against them. I love North, it was a great place for me to go and so many other people in this area. But those excuses you mentioned, Officials, Weather, Russians.... Those are excuses that North Davidson fans use when they lose. I’ve got screen shot after screen shot of social media whining over their loses to Davie, Parkland, Oak Grove, Thomasville... It hurts to lose, but sometimes its best to just take the loss and move on.
It even kind of hurts for me to admit that in a public forum... But I’ve sat in front of, and behind every single one of those excuses over the years... the loss two years ago at Mt Tabor was particularly embarrassing to hear our excuses.
Ditto to everything you said above! But there will rarely, if ever, be an admission to such.
I love North but freely admit we have some very homerish fans. They look at everything with black and orange shades. I feel I can at least admit when a team is just plain better or North got outexecuted.

You are correct on all points. You are also correct that OG can be the same way. There are a lot of folks in the stands who are “football experts”. A lot of mommas up there screaming all of the football lingo they’ve learned over the years, whether it is relevant to the situation or not.
There are some return chants in the works for the “daddy’s money” chant. They are clean, but they’ll be a nice retort for future games.

Basically it seems that the other county schools want to make fun of OG for being new and polished and for... Ahem, yes, getting their students from the more moneyed parts of DC, in particular Wallburg.
