Agreed. This game here will tell me a lot about the Hornets toughness. I was not surprised at the outcome of the East Davidson-North Rowan game. Qb-Rb run hard. Hornets better get a lot of helmets to the ball or it could be a long night.
I'm glad to see ED doing well. PG's win over them is starting to look pretty decent now.
I wanna believe in a good game...but something isn't sitting well...I'll go with my gut: Salisbury by 21
Two different offenses. One that relies on smash mouth eat the clock. The other can score on any play at any time with very athletic kids. ED may keep it close early, but the Hornets will make too many big plays for the Eagles to stay in the game. Hornets 42-21.
They say the best way to contain an explosive offense is to keep them off the field. Here is hoping that my Golden Eagles play error free football and make this a good game against Salisbury. I really like the job that Coach Hanner and the rest of the coaching staff has done at East. They have those young men ready to play every Friday night.

Not surprised. Salisbury will be a hard win in the playoffs with that explosive QB/RB/WR combo and very fast defense.
Wish I got on here before the game to give my prediction but I didn’t so I’ll just say I would not have picked ED. History always repeats itself with ED. If they are playing well they stick with what’s working and when they play bad they stick what used to work and now is not so NO CHANGE. Same old coaching staff🙄. ED relies on the talent in the boys ONLY and that gets easy to predict. MANY good and great players have gone through there and a few got smart and left the ones that stayed have great friends but no great football history to talk about as they get older.
A smash mouth team can eat the clock all night, but all it takes for Salisbury is 5-10 seconds to go to the house on any play. Ed had no chance without a bunch of athletes (which they do not have). Ed will finish pretty good and make the playoffs as the #2 seed in 2A. The ED-Thomasville game next week is interesting to me.
Yes I’ll be keeping my eye on that one. Might be close but I think T’ville has better athletes than ED and with a better coach they should come out on top. I’d go T’ville by 8
Thomasville beat Montgomery Central tonight 36-10. Guess they’ll drop eight places in the rankings.
Dogs just have to get healthy. They are much more athletic and have been winning with the QB basically handing the ball off because he cannot cut on the run. He gets better Dogs score a plenty!
