Awful quite on here about this game, what's your prediction? I'll start off by saying R'ville by 3 TD's

Wow! 3 touchdowns o_O good job on kicking off this thread. I think it'll be little closer than that. I'll take the dogs by a td. Looking forward to the game should be a good one.

Gonna be a close one. Murphys not going to have the element of suprise with Curry this time like they did before. They will actually have a chance to prepare for him this time. I don't see Murphy winning in the line of scrimmage. I think this game comes down to penalties and turnovers

Who knows. If the turnovers and flags are about even rville wins .

Well anything is possible, but that seems unlikely. I think Murphy would have to have another game with 100+ yards in penalties (which they've done more than once this season) and multiple turnovers to lose by that much.

it's been quiet as a library about this game, then a heat seaking scud missle gets lobbed at the Dogs LOL ! 3 td spread.......I think the team in Black and Gold will show up anyways......just in case........I do think this might be the last time for quite a few years that the talent levels are relativly close. Talent level wise Murphy is about to get back to being Murphy again.

I think this is the last time we play twice in one season for awhile.

If Murphy is poised and plays smart, they will be in position to win. If they are plagued by penalties and lose focus, it could be a very long knight.

Having seen them both this season, and MHS twice, I think they are very closely matched teams. I mean very, very closely matched.

Experience and home field advantage lies with the defending champs, but the "X factor" playmaker edge goes to Murphy's Curry. Murphy's O is tough enough on a year to year basis without throwing a running threat at QB into the mix. It is an extra dimension to an already versatile offense...so I think that all evens out somewhat.

Like a lot of closely matched playoff games, it will come down to a turnover or special teams play, imo.

Time of possession will be a key factor if RVille controls the ball like they did last time Murphy's offence will struggle to get into rhythm.

It's hard to pick against either team: Robbinsville has the home field advantage, and Murphy seems to have found the pieces to the puzzle, and has the motivation from losing to the Black Knights during the regular season....The Millsap boys were big in that first game, while Curry wasn't quite settled in as the Bulldogs QB when that first game happened....As mentioned before, a mobile QB can really change things, and I'm sure that Dee Walsh knows that, and will have his team ready to defend that possibility...

There's a lot of pressure for both teams in this matchup...Robbinsville has the pressure of being the SMC champ who has beaten Murphy the last 3 times that the two teams have played....Murphy has the motivation, and determination that the streak will end this friday...

Should be another dandy tomorrow!

Good luck to the winner in the Western Final!

Roar Tigers Roar!

Curry is going get his yards, Best Defense for Murphy is for the Rville offense to have long scoring drives. Pretty much the same thing we always try to do. And it has been working as of late. I credit that to the line we have over the last 2 yrs. Big A is the best lineman in the SMC and makes 4 or 5 tackles playing D. He power slams ever tackle he makes. He picked up the Hayesville running back over his head and BOOM. Slam. He even caught WSPs QB, one on one. lol. That QB was having a bad Knight. He went to the ground before contact a couple of times.

ACT has Robbinsville winning by 7, so that means were going win. Right? lol

The first game was a barn burner. The Knights will play keep away and its murphys job to stop it. Tough game to call. I look for the winner of this game to take the championship. A lot of pride and tradition on both sides. Should be another classic.

Im betting a bigger crowd than last years round 3 game. Weather looks to be a lot warmer compared to last years temps.

Last year we had more local teams playing. The only game in the Mtns this Friday is at Big Oaks. So it should be packed.

Halftime: 14 - 7 Robbinsville

Knights were absolutely dominating the game jumping out to a 14-0 lead, then 'Dogs get a great kickoff return and two plays later 52 yard TD pass to pull within 7. evenly played game since then

Congrats to the Knights on a well played hard fought game . Now go bring another title back to the SMC .
