Better not overlook the Hilltoppers, who gave South Point all they could handle before falling 29-22. We finally are back at home and it’s finally homecoming and the last conference game of the year for the Bulldogs, before we end the regular season with a nonconference home game against North Gaston. GO BULLDOGS!

We may be playing the "tallest midget" in Rutherford County this week (shoutout to my RS boys, you know who you are). Having said that, I think we should be OK this week. The South Point score is a little worrisome, and should grab our boy's attention. That should help us prepare a little more serious.

RS 21 BURNS 14.

Ole mountie pride came to pick on the Bulldogs and left Crestrulz on the 3A boards...least now we know you're a female because you clearly have no balls.
LOL, Mountie Pride will be just as correct on this score as he was on the Huss / KM score. I agree 91, Mountie brought out the [GOAT[ and then ran skeered....too funny.

That South Point / RS score shocked me for sure... Sometimes good teams just have bad nights for whatever reason, especially in the road, and I believe that's what happened to South Point last week... By no means do I think RS is bad, they are most likely the best team in Rutherford County and probably fit in the middle of the pack in 2A overall, and even given the right matchup could win a playoff game... But unfortunately for RS they aren't playing Rutherford County competition or middle of the pack competition... They'll be lining up against a legit top 5 team in 2A... They may keep it close for a quarter or so but that's it

Dogs roll 45-14

On a side note, I did get a minute last week to speak with Dorian Starnes (the kid Burns had taken off in an ambulance 2 weeks ago against Shelby), he said he's good... Pretty bad concussion and neck contusion, but he will be fine... Doubt Burns would risk putting him back in anytime before the playoffs though, especially considering their opponents... Wouldn't even be sure they put him back on the field for the playoffs either... He is just a junior and has way too much potential to risk any future harm... But just wanted to give an update on him and I'm so glad he is ok! That was a very scary sight 2 weeks ago

Glad he is on the mend....appreciate the info. Concussions are no joke and I agree he may need to heal the rest of the year but I will bet hes itching to get back out there.
