Rolesville vs Cardinal Gibbons Round 2

First, it is bad seeding that Rolesville did not get a higher seed so that their fans could enjoy these games at Rolesville in their community. I never knock the Association because they do an outstanding job up there in Chapel Hill, but this may be the one time that someone fumbled the ball on the seeding.

Now, with that said, arguably, Rolesville is the best team in the State this season. What they were able to do to Richmond and then Cleveland was unbelievable.

Last week, I sat out there in that 24-degree weather and watched Rolesville pretty much let a great Cleveland team know you can't match up to us.

I expect the same in the land of the Crusaders on Friday night.

Other teams had a higher RPI, thus, got a higher seed.

Grimsley was up 35-13 with a few minutes left against Rolesville a few months ago and won by 2 TD’s. Hard to say Rolesville is the best team in the state due to that outcome. But, we’re one week away from a potential rematch of that one.

Rolesville won in OT against CG a few months ago, round 2 will hopefully live up to what we saw in round 1.

CG lost in OT the first time. They are right there. Cleveland and RC are not at CG level this year. With that being said, I feel Rolesville is the best team in the East but I think CG will come to play. Should be a great game.
