Lucas Ford better get the job and I am sure he will. The bigger question is who coaches swain in 2026? Never seen a more unprepared team them the last few years. They had the horses in 2023, but we knew what they were doing all night, but they almost got us with that 2nd straight fake punt.
Are you sure about that with the likes of Dale Farr on the coaching staff?..guy was former head coach at Robbinsville and larger schools in Ga..

If Lucas don't get it then good luck getting kids out to play. My nephews won't play if they screw over lucas. He has put his time in, waited patiently, and turned down other opportunities.

I'm sure one season as a head coach is tough enough, much less several decades. Sometimes it's just time to hang it up and ride off into the sunset and enjoy a much more stress free life!

They did all through the 80s. Played 3A with 1A numbers. Yall the one crying about being so small playing bigger schools. Now you say yall dont want to be with smaller schools????? Mount Airy also played 3A with 1A numbers in all of the 1970s and I think the late 1960s or maybe all the 1960s.
I'm not talking about the 70's and 80's you s%#t birds I'm talking about the 2 years you were winning in 1A. And as far as wrestling goes we have spanked that behind for Mt. Airy more times than not. It didn't matter who won the west region everyone knew who was winning state. Good luck in 3A you bunch of clowns. RENT FREE
People can't stand winners Nole. Haters gonna hate. Year in and year out Murphy and Robbinsville are gonna compete majority of the time, that's where tradition and having communities rooted deep in culture comes in to play
And the SMC are also haters of Mount Airy and we live in their minds RENT FREE as well !
