Robbinsville vs Thomasville

WHO WILL WIN FRIDAY?

If Robbinsville had all their players it would have been a tall task to beat them but they lost most of their offense with the players that quit and they struggle on offense against Swain last week. Their D is still strong but the offense is very limited and I can see this being a one score game now.

Would be a great story if the kids that didn't quit and the JV kids make a run and set up a rematch with Murphy on Black Friday, but got to score.

Is Maxpreps correct about Thomasville having only 16 players???? How is that possible for such a proud, tradition rich program like Thomasville ? Sad if true.

There's someone trying to put a bus together but doesnt seem to be getting much interest. Needs 45 people confirmed by 6pm tonight at $90 per person and i imagine that's why
That sounds about right from a price standpoint. May even be a little lower than most.

No. That has been wrong all year. Through the first three weeks of the season, it also showed last year’s coaching staff. People put way too much stock in Maxpreps.
They have like 25-30 kids. Word is the Dogs had a few either quit or get tossed from the team since regular season ended. IMO, special teams will be the key this week. I would not kick it deep or straight to the punt return guy for the Dogs. That is how they make big plays.

Haven’t heard anything about plans for that. Not sure who would arrange it. Pretty expensive and short notice.
Friend of my parents used to drive for Thomasville, believe he drove for a some games during the 2000s. Could be the same person that Reddawg is mentioning but he might be retired. Hate to see players and few parents go up there alone.

Wouldn't be surprised based on the discipline issue from some of them the past two years. Players fighting with the opponents after plays, talking trash on social, and fighting each other after the Lexington game.

I remember in the eighties riding to a playoff game on a pretty nice chartered bus with my good friend Warren King. The King told me to take a five and three ones to get on that bus.
I asked him if I didn’t have any ones, could I give them a ten and get change. He thought for a minute and said, “You could Zeke. But if I was you, I’d take a five and three ones.”
My how things have changed.

That's interesting. My second bus driver from 1st grade was named Zeke, he was one of the high school student drivers. Think he played on the 91 football team with my brother too.😁
