My favorite. Also we were in the same class and probably played against each other in little league and middle school. I wanted to transfer to Tville senior year with us getting a new coach but mom and dad wouldn't hear of it lol.Quan Warley was a stud rb he was in my class of 2007
We had a few kids that had transferred to Thomasville during those years. different times then. Now most people that went to Thomasville don't even want to send their kids there. My favorite. Quan had the best vision I ever saw reading blocks. Just a yard gainer. Wish I could have blocked for him. I always compare him as a high school version of Emmitt Smith. Good times... I went to all the state title games.
Couldn’t have said it better.School board is responsible for the state of that system right now. Long time staffers retired or left the system that were very good teachers and coaches that had built winning programs. IMO, mostly due to policies made by people that no longer are employed there, but were allowed to do as they wanted. They knew of the openings for the three best programs in the school (football, wrestling and basketball) and the long time awesome AD retiring well in advance and did nothing about it. As for football, that team was talented enough to have a winning season and if not for a good defense they may have only won 1-2 games.
