Very anticipated game! I’m seeing it all over facebook. Those bucs are ready for friday! Thoughts on the game?? Could reidsville fans be shocked by the outcome of this game?
They have a super running back in 195-pound senior Jacob Scales who also plays tough defense.Someone stated that BY has “2 of the best RBs in the conference & their defensive is very good”. I couldn’t help but laugh when I saw that.
I agree and their stadium is not the biggest. Would have loved for this game to have been at community stadium to accommodate this expected big crowdBetter get there early if you want a seat. Buc fans have never seen a 9-1 home team and they will be there in never-before-seen numbers for a football game in Yanceyville.

Rams need to wake up from their lethargic effort vs The Cavs or they will start basketball 2-3 weeks earlier than expected.
You can always spot a leader on the field from the stands. I have yet to spot one on the defensive side of the ball. This team just don’t have the leadership this year. In the game Friday I saw Coach Teague had to step in and bring order or that game would have turned ugly fast with possible ejections. What I don’t understand is last years team wasn’t expected to make it to states, because of so many young players in important positions but yet we come from behind to win a state title. This years team is the team we’ve be waiting on, the team that was going to surly take us to state and win it, but is looking suspect with lack of leadership on the defensive side of the ball. Its pretty much the same team minus 2 impact players on the defensive side. Surly 2 players can’t make that much of a difference.
I'm hoping we get to make that trip down 158w. It just shows how flawed the seeding is if Northeastern had to go on the road and play BY. They have played noone and lost to a 0 win Cummings team if I'm correct. NE played what was probably the most difficult schedule in all of 2a and knocked off some really good teams all on the road. They won't like it if Northeastern comes to town. It will get ugly fast. Good luck to Reidsville, hopefully we'll get to match up again in Decembermighty long ride from Elizabeth City to Yanceyville...of course you can ride US 158 all the way...Yanceyville is about 25 miles east of Reidsville......If BY/NE match comes to pass at least it would a fun ride back home......................175 miles as the crow flies.....over 200 miles driving................................

One would think so. Our coach told me Friday that we would be a 2seed in the east. He said our 3 way tie for first in conference was to our advantage because the two schools were tied with were both going 2aa so that made us 1 of I believe 5 conference champions in 2a east small. I could be mistaken but I believe that's what was said. When I see BY schedule I just shake my head. I believe I saw where they lost to a winless Cummings team. I don't know much about western Nc fb but I can tell you that I think both Reidsville and Northeastern would beat them badly. I hope this bracket stays true and we get to travel to Yanceyville.I would think Ne adjusted max preps would have them over By?
Yeah I have been reading some western threads and have been educating myselfWell never say never.....but B-Y has never beaten Reidsville....they've played off and on for almost 60 years.................
Is it coin flip or max prep adj ratings? One thing is for certain....this years B-Y team set a school record for most wins....previous high was and 8-2 record in 1967...weird thing is,, they could lose to Reidsville this week (and they will certainly be an underdog) and miss the playoff entirely if they lose a coin flip.....so they could end up 9-2...sitting at home.......losing that 1 game to Cummings really hurt them

If yall travel to yanceyville il probably skip rams playoff game to watch that one instead lolOne would think so. Our coach told me Friday that we would be a 2seed in the east. I think HSOT forgot about the often forgotten rule mentioned in other threads about what happens in 3 way ties for 1st in a conference when one team goes small and the other go large...as long as Hertford Co. stays in 2AA, the Eagles will not have to play a road game for a whileI know nothing of BY but glanced at the HSOT 2a predictions for seeding and potential match-ups with one wk to go and they have BY hosting Northeastern in the 1st rd. Just looking at their schedule and who they've played (Cummings included) I think it would be a bad night in Yanceyville for the home team.

I don't see anyway to "guarantee" a team right at the cutline going into the last game would "definitely" be anywhere....I wouldn't feel safe saying Hertford Co. will "definitely" be 2AA and they're 6 or 7 from the cut line right now....I say SWE is 50/50 until we see some scores roll in Friday night and then try to start guessing what rankings the computer will spit out Saturday morning, as that will dictate which bubble teams get the last couple of wild card spots, which will dictate where the 2A/2AA cut line is, which will dictate where the East/West cut line is in both bracketsThanks for clearing that up Tarheelg, Coach Moore told me that we were gtd at least 3 home games as long as we win. He told me that last Friday night. Tarheelg, I was told SWE would definitely be 2aa from a very good source. What are your thoughts?

BY got shutout by Cummings and the rest of the schedule looks bad....
Rams by 50 or more.
Only winning record among non-conference foes is Winston-Salem Prep at 6-4. Kipp Pride (1A) is 4-6, Jordan Matthews, Bishop McGuinness and East Chapel Hill all 2-8, Chapel Hill and Cedar Ridge both 1-9.BY got shutout by Cummings and the rest of the schedule looks bad....
.
a focused Rams team should win by a 45-0 margin.
So Im going with 35-14
Yeah, think its getting in the 20s tonight. Still think the Rams will score a lot.You looked at the weather forecast lately?
Cold weather will hold the scoring down.
