Reidsville basketball

Just curious on why Reidsville scheduled Gretna? I know nothing about VA basketball. Are they supposed to be good this year (Obviously I know they are 13-1). Last year they were 16-10 and just going back to 21-22, they were 0-20. From 2011 - 2018, they didn't even have a winning record and some of the season they were winless. Just curious how they got on each others schedules.
No clue how this came together ... Gretna has one of Virginia's best two-sport athletes, Rayshaun Logan, a 6-3 junior quarterback and forward.

They are ranked #2 in Va 2A. They look "old school" to me. They either are proud, ashamed or secretive as they don't list Height or
Weight on their roster. Looks like they don't handle the press too well.

Looks like Gretna is 13 and 3. That must mean they lost to Dan River last night (2 losses this week). Either way, they are 62nd overall in VA and should provide a test to the Rams.

Reidsville moved to 20-0 last night with a 77-35 win over West Stokes....over last three seasons Rams are 75-1...........this year averaging 79 points per game....giving up 49.5 points per game.................

Rams not piling up the points tonight against a 15-4 Southeast Alamance team. It's a 34-19 Reidsville lead at the half.
Final non-conference game until the state playoffs.
54-33 after 3 quarters.
75-53 final .... Rams a bit sloppy at times tonight and still win by 22 against a good team.

Reidsville 50, McMichael 12 at the half. Rams headed to 22-0 start with only Morehead remaining on schedule.
Conference tournament next and then the state playoffs where Randleman (18-1) and Salisbury (18-3) have the best records in the West (except Reidsville).
In the East, Farmville Central is top-ranked at 17-4. Also looking good are West Bladen (19-1). Southwest Onslow (16-3), Kinston (15-3), Northwood (20-2) and Northeastern (15-2).

this is one of those years where the conf. tournament was a complete waste of time and a risk of injury in a meaningless setting...no drama and therefore no interest in going to the game...Walkertown may and that's a big MAY prove somewhat of a challenge to Reidsville in conf tourney title game (Friday) but I think most everyone is preparing for the state tournament play which begins next week......

Watching this nc state vs unc game Breon should have transferred if he really wanted to play. The degree from state is great but they look bad.
Making the Final 4 last year probably gave Keatts a pass (no pun intended) for this year. His strategy reminds me of pick up ball and a lot of 1 on 1. No movement. We made a run when we played through a big man and played inside out. As a State alum and fan, I'm ready to be done with Keatts personally.
