Reidsville Basketball playoffs 2025

If Kendre enrolls early at Oregon, it will be tough for Neal amd the Rams to 3peat in bball next year for sure. J9, Jones and Scales will be a lot of production to replace as well. Will be interesting to see what happens in the off-season aka the transfer portal lol.

I wonder if he will enroll early considering he is planning on playing football and basketball both.

You are my bud but Ill ask you this

What if Northwood would have won, and Fowler came over to your side with a belt and such... Would you still say yall got what yall deserved?

Any way it goes they did whoop everyone all season and 60 straight is amazing, I just dont like players acting like that but I am old, pay me no mind
I’m old school also Lion … I prefer sportsmanship to showmanship.

Yea if we had a student section trash talking yes. 100 percent. But we don’t have a student section. Dan Lanning loved it too. Oregon Coach. Stupid woman at game saying Oregon going to take his offer away lol idiotic thing to say

Kids will do what they are allowed to do.
Ok I want you to go tell a kid to just sit down after winning a state title and see how that goes. I swear some of yall ain’t ever won nothing in life and just accept being miserable. I seem to remember some very poor sportmanship with Shelby at Shelby a few years ago and In 2005 but didn’t see us calling them Thugs like we getting called after these past 2 games

Congrats to the Rams ! Easily best team in all classifications in basketball ! What a run
I'm sure North Meck would have something to say about that. NM has won two straight as well and played much better competition in their own conference than Reidsville played. Rams are good, very good, but to say in all classifications, well, I don't think so. That is why I would love to see a "true" NC champion. Take the top 16 teams in all classifications in the Regionals and play a tournament. I think Chambers, who was West Regional runner-up would probably make a run over most regional teams from this year. Whoever wins on each side, plays for the final. IDK...would be fun to see....Congrats to Rams on great years....
Also, looks like your Shelby Lions will be good the next couple of years...they were young

There is a difference between being excited and jubilant for a team win and showboating on your own away from the team.

Do you know the stuff they were saying to him all night? Didn’t think so. Also he went over there for maybe 3-5 seconds and came back to the team. Yall say yall old school? So I guess fist fighting would be better cuz that’s what they did back in the day

I don't see any posts calling out Mama or the coaches.

I would never mention someones family on here aside from positive statements. I know his family, and they love he and his brother like no other and raised two great young men.

Go revisit some football threads, because I made the exact same "kids allowed" comment there for pregame antics and USL penalties. Mistakes happen, kids can learn. But mistakes being repeated shows either no lesson learned or no lesson given. With social media these days, kids get trash talked 24-7, and in the heat of the moment can react in ways like we have seen happen with a lot of teams, not just one that we all root for.

Yes, I know plenty of what has been said to and about players for Reidsville for decades and recently. Plenty you cant type on here. But ignoring the noise and going out there and taking care of business on the field or court or diamond is the best reaction.

So, I guess you are blaming the coaches? Or exactly who??

Shut your face Rerun

If you think what he did was acceptable then you are part of the problem

Running around with a leather belt all around like a crazy man

You are the number one ranked player in NC and ALL eyes are on you and you act like that ? What a great example !

He needs to watch and learn from Neal

Everyone is different young buck. Cant compare Neil to KH. KH is in a league of his own. He can act like how he wants. Make no mistake if he was my son, definitely would not do these actions. But he's not, stop judging and hating on the young man. Stay in your lane young buck. Btw, my wife said you could never hold my jock strap lol 😂

My observations at the game saw Northwood competing in first half. 3rd quarter, Rams open a 14 point lead and Chargers began to get chippy. #1 for them was beating on Neal away from the ball and officials don’t see, although everybody at the Joel did. Neal goes to line after foul was called and the ‘you can’t guard him’ does. Dionte chilled the crowd, but the chippiness continues.

Kendre was fired up with the win and circled the court exhorting the crowd which was mixed (no designated team areas) except for Northwood student section, who had been giving it to Dre all night. This was probably the last game of his prep hoops career. Went 87-1 with two rings and a runner up and his exuberance has always been his signature.

The guy in green shirt beside Northwood student section had pulled his belt off by late 3rd quarter and was doing his best to emulate the ‘belt to azz’ motions for rest of game. He ran down and gave belt to Kendre, who actually shook a couple of Northwood student hands. Then NCHSAA official says grabs and guides Kendre back to the court. The only things harmed were the mindsets of old folks like me and our outdated notions of player decorum and sportsmanship

doesn't matter what they say to them....they are fans. They pay to see him play that's all he needs to think about. Fans are always gonna talk trash. Im sure they will do it more at the college level.

There is no need to reply to FACT24 and his inane posts.
We never do.
He is a punk who tries to push the buttons of the Shelby faithful, like he does here by drawing us into this conversation.

We will contribute, however, as we disagree with some here, concerning “exuberance” and “outdated notions of decorum and sportsmanship”.

“One man practicing sportsmanship is far better than a hundred teaching it.” – Knute Rockne

“What you are as a person is far more important than what you are as a basketball player.” John Wooden

Maybe if the kid won’t listen to well intending fans, coaches and parents…he will listen to legends of the games.

We don’t want him to fail. We wish him the best.
But he is seriously messing with karma.
And that usually does not turn out well.

Hate agreeing with a Shelby fan but your right!!

One thing about it is, everyone is different. Rams had a good team, Rams proved in the John wall back to back years they can compete with anybody. I do wish the non conference was a little better, Example a smith, Dudley, Gw or another good private school. 2a is no cakewalk, I think Salsibury may have been the 2nd best team in 2a.

Rams will be solid in football, basketbal could be good, you can build through Dionte.

You Shelbyville clowns are nuts lol.

It’s sad when State championships mean more than a kid doing the right thing. Anyone who can overlook a kid carrying a belt across a gym floor is insane. But your right state champs means more. Now I see why he acts that way.

And the fan that handed him the belt is an even bigger idiot

Hate all schools not named SWO, but respect what them boys in the ville have accomplished in last three years. KH is a horse.

SWO got another good old boy coach they hired. He's terrible and SWO will suck for the next ten or so years. Hopefully before I die, they will win more then 4 games a year. Ninja Lee and Coach Phil are rolling in their graves, sad sad times in the SWO community.
