OK, let's hear it.

Rams should be missing several key players due to basketball playoffs. Reidsville should be solid favorites at home Tuesday (Red Springs) and probably on the road Thursday (Randleman). If they win those two they will play most likely at South Granville Saturday where they will be heavy underdogs. Rams have no height whatsoever but have great guard play.

Tell us about Thomasville.

Kinston lost some games early to very good teams without star unc commit. I fully expect them to beat randleman and they will be a very tough game for Reidsville. Has the basketball players got some practice days in just in case they lose to Kinston, where they could play Friday?

Mule, I think you have it slightly wrong. I would expect Kinston to play Reidsville. I'm not sure who would be favored between Reidsville and Kinston, maybe a slight nod to Kinston. I wouldn't be so sure it would be South Granville, Farmville Central is still the favorite as they have beaten South Granville already and last year as well.

As for the Reidsville vs Thomasville game, that's going to be a tough game, but is still winnable with good defense and play calling. I do know Thomasville returns a good qb.

Yeah, I was looking at seedings only which make no sense whatsoever. Seedings must have been based on a blind drawing. Kinston and Farmville Central should be the favored teams but I like South Granville as well.

The 2a east is brutal. With Pass we have a shot. It was a blind draw. I'm excited for the potential kinston vs Reidsville match up. Styles vs Pass.

I hate I can't make this game, this game just smells like an upset alert type game/ talking thomasville game

What’s rule on attendance? Can anyone make this game?

I think it’s still strict on attendance. The east surry game we maybe able to go to though, they are supposed to be letting more people in March. You still maybe able to fence watch though.

Here are some incredible stats for Breon Pass:

34.5 ppg
12.8 rpg
5.4 apg

79% 2ptfg
54% 3ptfg
90% ftp

NC State Wolfpack fans should be really, really, happy that Breon signed with them.

Last time Reidsville played Kinston it was in 2-A regional final in 2012 - Brandon Ingram was a freshman for Kinston ... Reidsville had lead in third quarter of that game, but couldn't finish. Ingram is playing great for the Pelicans now.

I think at one point they were gonna be allowed to do some kind of FB practice so when season was over they would be ready, but that was nixed somewhere along the chain of command evidently.

For conference games, Thomasville is home team family only. I heard a rumor that Reidsville would be provided 30 of the 100 available tickets but can’t confirm. Nor do I know how those 30 would be handled. But I can’t imagine either team turning away any family of players in order to sell to the general public. Perhaps things will change after the Governor’s press conference Wednesday.

Yes....thursday nite (the same nite as the Reidsville/Thomasville football game.....Reidsville basketball will be at home versus Kinston....Rams will be very short handed in football versus Thomasville with 5 players missing...all are integral to the team especially missing Breon Pass (WR and DB and Punter) and Steveion Harrison (LB and RB)......

Curious to see which game reidsvilleradio.com will cover the football or basketball game.....................

has to be basketball, although I’m not as big a reidsville basketball fan as football. Kinston is a powerhouse in basketball and we all remember them beating us in the final 4 in football and basketball.

Same with me and Shelby. On a side note, Crest smacked Dudley last night in hoops.

I seen that. Well, Dudley was the only decent team reidsville played. But they had enough athletes to win. I was surprised not that Dudley lost, but just didn’t know crest was good at basketball.
I would think kinston would be similar to Dudley, but they have styles. Kinston is a bit weaker then they usually are though. Big difference in reidsville this year is pass doesn’t have a legit second option. Should be a good game regardless.

I hate it guys. Really don’t think we would have been all that competitive but hate to lose any games with a short season already. And it’s always good when two programs with a lot of history meet up.

I think it would have been a good game. Now with the basketball players I would have expected a blowout.

This could happen to any player for any team. Only take one exposure to infected person over period of time.

This is true, would have been a good test for the team without basketball players, players. BB players possibly back for the next game, but of course we wish they win it all.

Maybe we all get to make it to the next game could be the bright side of things.

Reidsville basketball Rams just beat Kinston 60-57. Rams lead by Breon Pass (NC State signee) who dominated the game compared to Dontez Styles (Carolina signee).

Next round (elite 8) will feature two future N.C. State players ... Reidsville's Breon Pass and Farmville's Terquavion Smith, Pass averaging 34 points a game and Smith 25.
Farmville Central is 73-2 the last three seasons with back-to-back state championships.
