RD4 (3) Whiteville @ (2) East Duplin

Turnover late in the game a favorable call can turn a game on a dime. Need to be close at the end and any team can win. JP played the calls and clock beyond his years last night snap hold and kicker executed perfectly and we won by 1 point. Sweet!

All 3 branches of the Holley tree alive. Only Princeton can stop it

I don't know but the winner get ready for Princeton
Your posts are starting to sound like someone else up there. Don't be bitter. Don't fall to that level. Yal had a good team. Don't hate. We recognize yal have a good program. Eagles should be in the thick of things next year

Am not goob I keep it real it's just the truth it's not because NHS lost it's because what I see

I just saw the game. It was a verry hard fought game, but I saw some holes in the ED defense that the Clinton backs missed which could have made a difference in the game. Having said that congrats to ED for battling back. Boy that 2 point try to win the game was o so verry close. The play by the DB was a game saver. It looked like he just got a finger on it to throw the pass off target. The guy was open in the end zone. Like they say football is a game of inches. LOL.

Hindsight 20/20, but I'm thinking the same power play they scored on would have done it. Jmo

All I know is Whiteville has beat 2 good teams the last 2 weeks so they are for real. Probably be another tough one. They all tough now. ED is beat up after the last few weeks but they will be prepared and ready. Like our chances.

That’s what i said as well. In that situation you go with a play you know works, not a play that you have been working on in practice as a surprise. Give no 2 or no 10 the ball and let them power it in and it’s game over. That 4th and goal TD was a cakewalk.

Might need to look at who is doing all the predictions. Really not ED people yet anyway
You’re exactly right.

loveboat I said it, not any ED posters. Whiteville has a good team but you have to go to ED and play a team that has played a much tougher schedule and who won most of their games, except Princeton of course. IMO, Whiteville will not be able to stop EDs offense for the most part and EDs defense is tough as nails especially against another wing-t team. I like JP a helluva lot but he will have his hands full playing at ED this week.

I did say no predictions yet😁 As Dog79 says I was trying to be cordial 🤣

Coming from a ED fan, this one scares me a bit. We just came off an emotional comeback win that was super competitive to the very end. We’re banged up all over. I know Battle will have whatever players are available prepared on Friday night.

Whiteville will be no slouch. They have the coaching and athletes to go all the way. Keeping Hertford to 24 points speaks volumes to me. NO ONE has kept them under 35 all season.

This one may be our toughest task all season (no shade towards Wallace, JK, Clinton, or Princeton). I hate picking with my heart alone, but I believe Holley and the Panthers find a way to win.

Good luck to both teams on Friday! Go Panthers!

Agree!!! They can play some defense to hold Hertford to that.

That had lots to do with a good Clinton team. They were balling in that first half. Have to give credit where it's due.
Not taking anything from clinton but the boys just weren't focused or ready. When they came out in the second half they were ready to play, they had a pep in their step loaded for bear. They scored 21 pts in the 3rd qtr alone and went on to win. This tells me that had the boys played with that kind of mentality, drive, and determination in the 1st half, the game would not have been close. Agree or not, that's what I saw.
