Proposed realignment

I'm wondering what everyone's thoughts are on the ADM numbers that recently came out. I am sure there is a lot of work to do but in the 4A for instance, I only count 20 teams that could be consider East teams. How in the world do you make that work? I see a lot of split conferences in order to make this work. Why in the world didn't we just leave the subdivisions in place like they were? We had 8 football state champions that way and now you propose this debacle which makes for 8 state champions again. It will be interesting to see how this turns out. I see lot's of travel which is not what we need. Good luck guys.

My proposal would be to decide East and West per classification. That helps a lot.

As for 8 champions...there will be 7. 1A and 2A will have to combine. I believe there's only about 19 schools in 1A with football teams.
