I heard the starting JV qb for Statesville for the first 8 games is now the starting qb on varsity is that true?

Yes and the QB for Statesville JV did real good. I was impressed with him. He is only a freshman. Statesville will have something to look forward to when he comes up to varsity. Statesville had a scoring chance with a pick 6 six but the ball was dropped. Also they got deep into Hickory territory toward the end of the game but was unable to score.
