Weddington, the defending state 4-A champion, beat the absolute hell from Northern Guilford tonight, 55-0.
"0"................... Guys, I am at a loss for words. I can hardly wrap my mind around what I just witnessed! I came here expecting a showdown on an epic game. But what I'm witnessing is something else entirely. This game has turned into a lopsided night and I am just here like 👀
MC, BY FAR, the most athletic team Hough has faced
It's beyond baffling!
Where is everyone from MC? Thoughts?
This is the one team I gave EF the most chance against that's left. I wasn't too impressed with them against WF earlier in season. Weddington has some size but I wasn't that impressed with them athletically on defense. I'm sure they've improved but I think EF can score on them. Problems will come defensively vs Weddington. We'll see. Hough is the only juggernaut I see left 4A West it seems.
What teams this season do you believe stood as the ultimate underdog and who emerged with the most strength that Hough faced?
