Agreed Lion….Shelby can go right down the field with their short passing attack. Monroe’s D is definitely putting the pressure on your qb when yall try to go deep.

Monroe-Shelby .... Opposite extremes at the QB position as far as speed. (But hard to tell on NFHS networtk production).
Ours is like 6'3 230 he's not what you say "fleet a foot" more of pocket passer when there is actually a pocket which is rare this year lol.....
He’s a tough kid and has played hard. I was worried about that foot in cold weather with Monroe being that aggressive. I was hoping they would leave the home run ball for next week because I felt like FH and Brevard would struggle to cover them. Monroe has the athletes but lack the discipline. The first half Shelby had the right mix but got away from it some. Hell of a season for Shelby. I don’t see anyone beating them in the playoffs next year.
